the wording of the original statement really looks like it's specifically because koba and dwlee don't seem aligned. if we're supposed to take 225 and 240 at face value, why didn't a hint of any of that reasoning make the cut in the first place?

I think there's a reasonable chance that kdca's post there is a semi-slip that comes from kdca knowing one half of the mafia team, having a genuine godfather read and knowing from that extra info that koba has to be town if they're not aligned with that particular godfather.
