Why would a scum point out they wanted more pre-game time?-

What would it actually accomplish for them since the game already started and it is too late for more pregame time lol-

I disagree with you on that. Pushing people for the sake of pushing people is a scum motive that aims to look towny or get someone to slip up and force a bad lynch. An actual town would be able to back up a claim they made with a legit scum motif.-

A good player has more than 1 strategy and idea, the way I see it is that was a scum intent so I don't think it should be ignored and I especially do not think it is a town tell. Don't get trapped in the idea that aggressive play that doesn't follow someone's usual scum play is town play. Meta is pointless no one would play 2 of the same scum games the same way with the same people that is literally asking for trouble.-

Varies based on what is happening. I would get us at least 5 days before and after you preform the vig so we have enough time to talk about it, although if you approach the 5 days left in the actualy day phase mark don't feel pressured to vig someone.-

Here's the way I see it. When I asked that question, there was only one answer; however, that's not important. What's important is the multiple array of methods to answer that question.
She could've been snarky and state that the question is ridiculous because there are no VTs, which I think would be more likely scum response.
She could've been curious as to why I asked the question, which again is a way of dodging the question on its own and is slightly scummish.
She could've done other responses as well.
But the point is, she clear cut answered it directly and that is more likely to come from town that anything else.
She could have realized how pointless and bad the question was and try to play it safe answer in the most neutral and least indicative way possible.
Being unindicative isn't a town trait and personal character traits that determine how you respond to pointless questions also do not indicate your role as it varies from person to person not role to role.
I am getting vibes right now that you are trying to make people ready Dewy as town with that question not because you thought it would be beneficial.-

Page 2 is still RVS in my opinion, it isn't town or scum play it is RVS. I wouldn't say it feels forced because there isn't really any inconsistencies among his posts that would suggest that.
I am neutral on Not Mafia right now I don't like this wagon at all it is focusing on all the wrong ideas.

So you see Bulba as lynchbait, but not Dewy? What's the difference in their posting?
Dewy is sheeping really hard and hasn't added much to the game so far in an attempt to side with the most people so she doesn't get pressured.
Bulba hasn't done anything overly scummy outside his town-slip he has just been highly questionable.-

You can feel free to try and discredit my read like that but it isn't because I think you are scum with Dewy I don't like the question you asked her because it was pretty pointless and no scum would have slipped up due to the pregame phase forcing you to learn the setup. The comment on the tone Dewy would respond to it indicating her alignment felt rather forced because I asked you to explain the question.-

In post 289, 3dicerolling wrote:I generally would come to the same consensus as you here; however, dewy is still relatively new. Although she could have possibly changed up her scum game, I doubt she has had enough experience to know what to do to make her scum game different. If she was put in a position where she realized meta was getting her caught each game, she might change the way she plays, but considering how few games she has played, I seriously doubt what you are proposing.
I have lost and won a lot of games due to newbie tunneling trust me. The reason I am pushing this so hard is because I am worried I will get killed somehow and you and Prisc will just let her cruise to end game.
In post 289, 3dicerolling wrote:This is all just wrong. It does vary from person to person, but also from role to role.
I was trying to justify my dewy townread, and keep you from trampling all over a player I think is town, if that's what you are implying.
In post 289, 3dicerolling wrote:Idc whether you think it's made up or not.
I think that was a pretty fake question looking for towny points so people believe you are scum/town hunting more than what you actually are. Although I am starting to believe that it isn't a scum action but instead was just a disagreement on how attitude influences your role which is more of a personal disagreement then a disagreement between our roles. So in the mean time I won't consider you a potential scum but I will remember this if you start doing suspicious behavior in the future.
If Dewy is a newer player the safe option as to scum is to just follow experienced players read which is exactly what she is doing. We are playing a very dangerous game right now letting Dewy getting away with being scummy because she is new and it doesn't support the meta this is not just 1 way to misread someone and lose the game but 2.-

How do I play this to best enable you to read me?
Do you want me to run things by you, ignore you and focus on other people, etc?
This is fairly scummy imo because Apricity doesn't need to share this info as she is conf town so it isn't like we need to look for contradictions in her reads. A town player shouldn't be worried about looking town in a setup like this.
In post 143, RadiantCowbells wrote:NM's posting just felt really off to me.
Hard to put it into words.
My next biggest scumread atm would be Beeboy.
While pushing the NM wagon he is simultaneously preparing a wagon on me. If I was most likely to be scum he should have voted me but he is voting NM because that lynch is more likely to happen.
He then proceeds to push me while being on the NM wagon in posts
165 (never pointed out where I was indirect)
245 (number one scumread without proof again)
251 (claims I am pushing lynches when I am L-4 on my #1 scum read when he started a wagon on someone he had no scumread on and is trying to force a NM pewpew)
RC's claim on me pushing people feels very fake and hypocritical if I was his #1 scum read he should have voted me by now. RC has been trying to set up lynches on 3 people this game and I initially just thought he was scum hunting but it is very opportunistic and the NM situation is very rushed feels rushed and we wouldn't have gotten to this point without him as a ring leader. His recent push on me while being on the NM wagon was bugging me but I overlooked it because i had a town read on RC but 283 is just so forced.
