I think Ranger is scum because her early read list felt incredibly forced like she was trying to play to her meta, make people feel good with town reads (this is also proved with the everyone else is scummy comment she made) and establish herself as the early town leader. 3 NOs with that and 0 YESs indicate scum in my eyes.
We all interpret meta differently to be completely honest so I don't know how I will react to Swords and Ranger using meta to have completely different reads on me at this moment in time. Although Ranger reading me instead of heat when he has been are slot is a bit worrisome.

For Heat on Dewy I actually disagree because "meh meta" matches what I remember from her town playstyle that I actually scum read her for the first time we played together. Although meta does a really good job of failing me day 1 so I am really hesitant to actually do anything to stop Heat right now because he has made solid points.

No I'd like to here what you have to say first.

I really hated pretty much all of their early game. It felt like they were trying to buddy up to Ranger. 149 isn't terrible, but the pretending to be Ranger and 40 felt off. In regards to them vs. School, their back and forth with BBT, it basically just feels like they're trying to discredit him at every chance they get (215 289 and 291 bothered me the most). Hated 278. Like my predecessor said, if we ML and vig doesn't have a shot or doesn't shoot correctly again, we're fucked.

There's not a lot coming from the Dewy slot.. like I said earlier, she's asking questions and not really following up on them. She has no reads, I have no idea where her head is at. Scum looking busy, trying not to push the envelope too much and get noticed? I'd love to hear more from her.

Lilith.. I can kind of get a better handle on where she's at by the tone of her posts, and I'm leaning more towards nulltown on her.

I ALWAYS scumread BBT (and he's been town in every game we've had together). That's why I asked TTH to post more.. I'd like to try to see what I think about her. 296 was really towny, though. (I'll go back a little later and reread that ISO, see if something in particular sticks out to me with another go through)

Also, looking at the previous games, there are probably only two PRs, meaning that the vig is the last one left. In this case, we gain nothing by NLing, but we lose the possibility of redeeming a mislynch with a correct vig shot. I am strongly against NLing today.

What? Ok so, say we ML again today, we leave it on the vig. What if the vig hits town again? I really am not following your logic here.

2 more town deaths and we lose.

Please, if I'm not seeing something, walk me through it, but this plan is not in town's best interest IMO.

Like I get what you mean? But I'm incredibly wary of putting the game on the shoulders of the vig when 1. we don't even know if we trust them (we could tell them who to shoot but that doesn't mean they'll listen if they think they have a better idea), 2. they may not even have another shot.

We no lynch today: Vig can still shoot again if they have another shot and it gives us another day to sort things out with a flip to go off of and discuss.

This slot has been so underwhelming in regards to performance. Dewy, I know you're busy and whatnot, but when you have posted, it doesn't seem like you're actually trying to solve the puzzle. It feels more like you're trying to keep busy and hoping nobody really notices you.

TBH, I think Sword and I are going to have to agree to disagree on lynching vs. no lynching. That being said, though I still think no lynching is optimal play for town for reasons I've already mentioned, I'll go with the majority so it's not an argument anymore. That way, if you guys do decide we should lynch today, we can spend the time talking about who that should be instead.

I'm really disengaged with mafia in general, and I'm making an effort to be present in my games. The stalling and waiting this game haven't helped with that at all, and I do apologize I haven't been more active.

Also, just because I don't agree with you doesn't make me scum. Me not willing to put the fate of the town in the hands of the unknown isn't scummy. It's making a judgement call for what I think is best for town to win.

Side note: I think town would have been more likely to look closely at the flips for flavor (in essence, being game-solvey; whereas as scum are more focused on the role that flipped than the flavor) before claiming, and--regardless of whether they checked the flips--would notice that the other people's claims followed the same [trainer]'s [pokemon] format as theirs. The only reason they wouldn't know to claim that would be because the other scum didn't have a pokemon and so they couldn't compare formats (i.e. SOS).

I realize this is kind of a dumb reason to scumread UTL but /shrug

I would think it would be the opposite? Scum would want as much information as they can get to make sure they "blend in" properly, no?
