First of all, irrelevant - this was an RVS vote with a made up reason.
Secondly, I'd say in a game with daytalk it's as applicable as any other game. Why? WIFOM is why. I know why it makes sense, but scum can use that sort of meta against the rest of town, just like anything else. The fact that you're defending an RVS vote bothers me.
Huh? That's a mod post....
I didn't even know that, I was just saying it as a joke for an RVS vote.In post 55, Gamma Emerald wrote:
Mastin2 suggested it and it's a bit of a meme now.In post 54, Pine wrote:No. I don't know where the whole "last to claim is scum" thing came from, but it's nonsense.
Why do you think BNL would be trying to buddy Parama, especially in multiball? In post 58, Pine wrote:Bolded is ridiculous. There's absolutely not enough evidence to have this kind of confidence. Not sure if this is buddying or overconfident scum.

Out of RVS.
Do you really think that's likely on D1? The same could be said for any vote count, technically. In post 60, BNL wrote:...snip...
Overconfidence? Where did you get that from?
Townread of Parama comes from his self vote which brings himself to L-2. With the plurality lynching, this could be a death sentence for him if no one ever gets to L-1.
I feel that your attack is a bit exaggerated here.
You seem to have a hard time picking up on jokes in RVS. Are you generally this literal? Do you focus on RVS posts for scum hunting in other games?
Which post are you talking about? In post 81, Gamma Emerald wrote:BNL is worried about what Parama is saying there. Maybe Parama is right.V/LA on Weekends-

So, riddle me this (and yes, I'm aware this may be WIFOM-y, but I'm still curious on your thoughts). Why do you think BNL would draw attention to that post if we were scum buddies? I have additional questions, but want answers to this one first.
P-Edit:It may be self-meta, but feel free to look at my game history. I do that in pretty much every game. Honestly, I've seen it less in this game than I have in most other games I've been in.V/LA on Weekends-

You didn't - that post was actually directed at Gamma. His 81, clarified in 101, read to me like BNL was trying to defend me. If I misunderstood that, a clarification would be nice.In post 104, Parama wrote:where did i ever say you two were scum buddies

1)@Shadow: I really despise long posts full of nonsense questions, most of which are more tedious than helpful.2)Idon't knowwhy BNL would be buddying Parama, I merely noticed that he wasdoing it. It's my job to make observations, then draw conclusions from them. Not shake my magic 8-ball and divine the deeper reasons why people do the things they do.Numbers added by me.
1) Then you're not going to like my playstyle.
2) As I stated above, that was supposed to be directed at Gamma.
Or, you know, I scum hunt differently. Motivation, and understanding why people are saying/doing what they're doing, is as important (it not more so) than what's actually said. I don't like giving insight into reads early based on that - it often jades how people respond to things. For example, let's say I'm scumreading Bob, who happens to be town. If he knows I'm scumreading him when I ask him a question, he may come off defensively and scummier sounding, leading me and the rest of town to mislynch him. On the other hand, if he doesn't know I'm scumreading him, he may be more relaxed about his answer, making me reevaluate my read. I can give an example the other way too if you're interested. In post 108, Parama wrote:you bring up a really bloody good point though.
shadow.
you didn't make a single assertion in that entire post. you just asked a bunch of questions without putting any effort into interpreting things or coming to conclusions.
i gain absolutely nothing by reading through that post. i have no idea what your reads are. i have no clue who you suspect. i have no clue what you find scummy or towny.
it's kind of like, you're not scumhunting, but trying to give off the illusion that you are by asking a lot of questions
Hmm, I don't like this assumption.
Almost your entire ISO at this point is you and Parama, with one random read on me, and one comment about Infinity feeling scummy in 131. You saying I'm scummy for having "very few stances" is hypocritical. Additionally, almost nobody has made any comments about you/Parama. What makes me not commenting on it any scummier than anyone else not?In post 127, BNL wrote:I don't like these posts from Shadow. They have very few stances, and doesn't talk about Me vs Parama, arguably one of the biggest happenings in the thread thus far. I think town will make a stance on that.
There's something off about this, and I like my vote here more.

This doesn't make any sense...even if I was scum, this is multiball. Everyone benefits from scum hunting, not just town.In post 108, Parama wrote:it's kind of like, you're not scumhunting, but trying to give off the illusion that you are by asking a lot of questionsV/LA on Weekends-

I have to go back and reread for details, but I know I didn't like him D1, and the unannounced L-1 of Infinity today, especially 12 minutes after his "dodge" post (192), bothers me greatly.V/LA on Weekends-

Looking at his voting pattern. He completely avoids the BNL wagon, votes me, briefly votes someone else, then votes me again (rinse and repeat), and only seems to be trying to figure out one scum team.
Vedith- You don't think Gamma/Infinty is a possibility? They're both voting each other, but never for very long, and other than throwing shade they're basically avoiding each other. That would still leave Tenshii as the last orange scum.V/LA on Weekends-

So, I'm actually starting to think that Parama may be scum. Re-reading early D1, it looks like his joking around was a bit overdone. It also leaves room for "I was joking" if any of it got pushed. Him "buddying" withPinealso makes it seem like he knew they weren't on the same team, so whether Pine was town or the other scum team didn't matter. He pushed the Infinity lynch, and then specifically wants to avoid the Tenshii wagon in 275 for the Infinity wagon. Posts 299 and 313 give me scum vibes, especially since there's no reason for him to be alive considering how widely town read he is.V/LA on Weekends
