Love (n): a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person
Love is a curious thing. It knows no bounds, no limits, no borders. It’s power can cause intense euphoria, and heart wrenching grief. Why does it do this? Who knows? Who cares? People will sacrifice so much for love. What would you do for love? Would you lie for love? Would you die for love? No? Too bad.
Rules:
1. All site wide rules apply.
2. In all communications with the moderator, you must be honest.
3. Do not do anything that would be considered cheating.
4. Do not quote your Role PM, screenshot it, etc. Paraphrasing is fine.
5. Do not share any quicktopics with anyone. Ever.
6. Do not quote moderator communications.
7. Do not attempt to use a robust form of cryptography. Do not use invisible text.
8. If you want to grab my attention, use bold tags.
9. When you are dead, you may not communicate in this thread, or any quicktopics. The dead thread is the only exception.
10. Never discuss ongoing games.
11. Breaking any of these rules will result in disciplinary action.
12. All quicktopics will be released post-game.
13. Days will last two weeks.
14. If you don’t post in the main thread from 48 hours, you will receive a prod. If you don’t respond to the prod after 24 hours, you will be force replaced.
15. For the purpose of prods, Saturday and Sunday will count as a single day.
16. If you have to get prodded a fourth time, you’ll be replaced.
17. If the deadline is met, a plurality lynch will occur. Whoever has the most votes for the longest period of time will be lynched.
The set-up for this game is True Love. There are 2 Mafia Lovers and 6 Town Lovers. The Lovers are divided into four pairs of two, with each mafia member being paired off with a town member. Lover pairs do not know their lover's alignment. The mafia has private daytalk, and each lover pair has private daytalk. The game is nightless.

You win when your faction controls 50% of the town.

I'm unfamiliar with how this works. Do we claim our neighborhoods, or keep it secret till lylo?
I think the max utility is supposed to be to keep them secret until late today or early tomorrow, but I forget why that is and I'm too lazy to go look for it.
That was what I was alluding to. My early death in that game. And yeah, I was a bit disappointed that you didn't remember me, as well, but I also felt that this might be somewhat petty and unjustified.
So, any reason you chose not to vote?

That's polygamist you're thinking about. In polygamist the pairs are all town-town so the benefit in not claiming early is to judge people's reactions to others as well as not help scum push the most easily lynchable pair. In this setup we don't know our lover's alignment, so there's no such benefit.
