The idea was for the rolecop to only be able to get a "guilty" on the Encryptor. I didn't think that made it too unbalanced. :S

Tbh, it was going to be near impossible after the hammer you did and ccing my doc claim for me to fall in love w voting Equinox despite RC wanting it.

RC just prolly claimed it BC it bolstered me and trapped you. RC fakes a lot. Scum should have had a roleblocker though.

In my defense, I ended up reading the majority of the game; the only part I did not read was Day 1. It just happened that the strongest case against you was your claim, which didn't make sense given the other two claims on the table. As it turned out, I was right for the wrong reasons, anyway.

Speaking of which, TheDominator37, "vanilla" doesn't necessarily equal confirmation that someone is town. Some moderators will give you that result for mafia goons.

Town were certainly lucky none of the chances they took backfired on them.

Does anyone else think the setup is unbalanced? 2 Goons vs 1 Tracker and 1 Doctor in the Matrix6 setup has a town win rate of about 43.8%. I figured my gated investigative role was similar enough to give a similar rate.

Knowing now that RadiantCowbells was vanilla, I think the setup was balanced as is.

I haven't followed the game completely.
I was glad I seemed to have left FA in a relatively good spot, to be honest I think you made it further than I would have. (But if I did make it that far, I wouldn't have claimed BP).

In case there was any doubt, replacing out had nothing to do with the players or the mod or whatever, you all were great, but I thought I could manage a micro when I signed up, but I simply wasn't having fun, simply due to the mafia-scum style of play. Posting became a chore, so I opted to replace out before my lurking became to damaging to the gamestate.

As for the set-up, I specced pretty well it seems, I was going for a doc and a weak investigative like role cop. I think the neighbours were too much though.. Although, I don't know.

I saw no reason not to take advantage of Dom making a weird claim to force a 50/50 between the two people who could actually be scum.

FTR: dom was right because there's no way there'd be a role cop in this situation without at least one scum being guiltiable, so my being vanilla was conftown.

but I didn't want to have to argue with people about Titus's alignment because there's so much backstory to the read that trying to explain it is an exercise in futility.

I was following this game. I was one of the setup reviewers, so if people think it's unbalanced, I'd like to hear about it. (But yes, RC was fakeclaiming a role more town-sided than his actual role, which is why the setup felt townsided.)

For anyone wondering, the purpose of the neighbours was to narrow the rolecop's target pool a little (on the basis that neighbours tend to be exposed as neighbours eventually, and thus make for bad rolecop targets as the result is known in advance). At least RC waited until the rolecop was dead before fakeclaiming; if not for that, it's quite possible that two townies would have got into a 1v1 and lead to an automatic Mafia win.
