A common suggestion for tackling what seems to be an insurmountable task is to look at it as a series of smaller tasks. Hunting mafia scum is no exception.
Days and Rarefactions will have a deadline of two weeks, and Nights will last 48 hours. Deadline extensions will be granted only in extreme circumstances.
Lynches occur through simple majority. Once majority is reached, no further votes or unvotes will count. If no majority is reached at deadline, the lynch will occur through plurality vote. In the event of a tie, the player who reached the current amount of votes first will be lynched. In the event of no votes placed, a random player will be lynched.
Dead players may not post until the game has been officially declared over; no "Bah!" posts.
Prods will not be issued automatically. Any player may request a prod at any time. Players who have not posted during the Day phase or who have not responded to their Night prods will be replaced. You made a commitment when signing up for this game. Please be responsible with it.
Actions not received by deadline will be counted as "No Action." Actions may be submitted ahead of time and can be changed as many times as desired; at deadline, the last valid action that was submitted will be used. Actions may be submitted via PM or private topic.
Votes placed by accounts not present in the game will not be counted. Vote tricks will not be tolerated, and any judgment passed over the validity of any ambiguous votes is final.

Setup
The 9-player Rarefaction setup designed by Vi consists of two mafia goons, one town innocent child, six town vanillas, and the following mechanics:
As soon as the mafia make up one-third of the living players, all players will be split into three-player LyLo cells. Players may only vote for players within their cells. Once this Rarefaction phase begins, no more Night phases occur.
In Rarefaction, the town must lynch both mafia goons in their respective cells in order to win. The mafia surviving in any cell constitutes a town loss.
The innocent child is confirmed by the moderator at the start of Rarefaction.

I just think town would've more likely to say something with their vote when the person before ten said nothing, in order to get some sort of discussion going. Nice chainsaw defense though
It's not arbitrary, because as I said before, I feel like town would more likely try to get discussion going after someone else before them said nothing.
