General Rules(As minorly changed from Kairyuu's set):

1. Do not discuss the game outside of the game thread unless your role specifically allows it. This is a modkillable offense.

2. Do not quote the mod. Ever. You have been warned.

2a. As an additional failsafe, attempting to use outside information or communication such as role PM structure or message times will be punished similarly.

Sample Townie win condition wrote:
You are aligned with the town, so that means when there are no more anti-town members remaining, you win! Presuming there’s still a townsmen alive, of course.

3. If you notice a mistake that I have made, please pm me about it or bold it in the thread: @Mod: I was voting player X, not player Y

4. Modkilled players become Neutral Survivors and automatically lose. In addition, a modkill either will or won't end the day depending on which will hurt the modkilled player's faction the most (scum modkill will not, town modkill will).

5. Do not post in blue. It is my color. Impersonating the mod will cause disciplinary action to be taken.

Voting, lynching, and death

6. Votes must be in bold or tagged:

8. Voting for a no lynch is acceptable. For a No Lynch to occur a voting level of 1/2 of living players rounded down must be reached.

9. Lynch happens when a player reaches a voting level equal to 1/2 of living players + 1 rounded down.

9a. Anything and anyone can be lynched. What happens when something or someone not in the game is lynched is entirely up to me.

10. At deadline if the required amount of votes in order to lynch someone has not been reached, there will be a default No Lynch instead.

11. Roles will be revealed upon death.

12. Once a player has been lynched they are allowed a single 'bah' post with no game related content.

13. Once a lynch count has been reached, the game enters twilight. During twilight anyone except the lynched player may continue to speak until I post a death scene.

Activity

14. By signing up for this game you have agreed to treat it as a commitment. I expect you to honor that commitment.

15. Day Phases will have a non retractable deadline of 1.2*number of players days. Night Phases will have a non retractable deadline of 72 hours.

16. If a player has not posted in 48 hours then I will prod them. They will then have 48 hours to respond in thread or they will be replaced. I don't want this game dragging.

16a. If the player fails to respond to three prods in a day, they will be forcibly replaced.

17. V/LA notes posted in thread or PMed to me will be honored.

Theme Specific Rules/Notes

18. This game is semi-open. You know that there are 2 scum and 7 town in this game.

19. You MUST open and confirm your alignment PM. You may choose when and where you open your role PM.

20. When a player has read their role PM, it will be noted in the opening post by their username being

bolded

and there will also be an announcement in the following mod post.

21. Game mechanics and what not are listed on Peek a boo mafia.

22. Any passive abilities are not activated until the role PM has been read.

23. Every player may submit one of any type of action they like. If they have that action, then that ability will be used.

24. After every Night, every player will receive a results PM. If they got any results from their action, it will be listed there. Otherwise, they'll just receive a "No Results" PM.

Conduct

20. Play nice. If you can't kill each other without being polite then you shouldn't be here. That is to say, ad hom attacks will get you a warning, and then a second offense will get you forcibly replaced.

20.9 When in doubt, ask the mod.

21. Have fun, and play to win.

I think so, but I was thinking in terms of how the probabilities were created in the first place, wouldn't everyone have the same probability?

If it is, what about saying the highest factor of 10 that is below your percentage? Mine would be 70.

As far as revealing the possible partner, I'd rather wait until I learn my alignment for certain.

Everyone was assigned a completely random probability. Claim as you wish. It is the same as claiming a Role Name, in my eyes.

In a 7-2 setup, the probably that everyone has to be town is, essentially, exactly the same. 7/9 chance.

Every player is given a randomized percent. That will be the likelihood that they are town.

The players are then randomized. A number between 1 and 100 is then privately drawn for each player and if that number falls in between 1 and their Town Percentage, then they are town. The first two numbers that fall outside of the town percentages are scum. If necessary, the numbers will be rerolled.

Ok, so using mine. I was randomly assigned 73%. Then randomly assigned a number between 1 and 100. If the number I received was below 73, I'm town, and if it was above 73, I'm scum, if I was one of the first two to fall above my 73. Right?
