ONE: FUNDAMENTALS

I) All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
II) There is no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
III) Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, backup-moderator, or fellow players. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
IV) Be courteous and respectful to all your fellow players and the moderating team.
V) Play to your Win Condition.

TWO: DAY PHASE

I) Each Day Phase shall have a 7 day deadline.
II) Votes must be

bolded

or they shall not be counted. Abbreviating someone's name is acceptable, so long as I can discern who you were voting for without trouble.
III) Unvoting is not required, but is much appreciated by the mods. If you control more than one vote, Unvoting will unvote all of your votes, unless you specify which vote you unvote.
IV) Once you have reached a simple majority (half of all living players plus one) that person's fate is sealed and they shall be lynched. Unvoting cannot change their fate.
V) If half the living players approve a No Lynch (

), then no player shall be lynched and the game shall enter Night Phase. If deadline is reached and no one has received a simple majority of the votes, no one shall be lynched.
VI) Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I arrive and post a death scene. All players may continue to post during Twilight.
VII) V/LA does not exist in this game. If you have failed to post in 8 days not counting time spent during the Night Phase, then you will be modkilled and automatically lose the game.
VIII) A deadline extension may or may not be granted; just ask.
IX) Votes and Unvotes shall not count in Twilight.

THREE: NIGHT PHASE

I) Night Phase shall last two days.
II) All groups with Private Topics (PTs) will be able to converse during the Night Phase.
III) Any role or faction with night abilities may choose to use them by PM-ing the mod with their choice.
IV) If no action is received, no action will be taken. All actions received after the deadline has passed will not be valid.
V) Night Action submissions will be accepted starting in the Twilight Phase.

FOUR: CAPITAL OFFENSES

I) Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, or backup-moderator. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
II) There is to be no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
III)

The following is a list of outlawed shenanigans:

• Using invisible text, codes, cryptography, etc.
  
• Editing your posts (if you have the power to do so)
  
• Insulting other players
  
• Quoting any PTs you may have access to

If any of these offenses are committed, I have the right to force-replace you from the game or modkill you. A warning will usually come before replacement or modkilling, depending on the severity of the infraction.

FIVE: MISCELLANEOUS

I) Feel free to address me in-thread, but if there is a large egregious mistake please PM me. Small matters like errors in the votecount can be posted in-thread.
II) I have the final say on any issue. I reserve the right to force-replace and modkill at my will.

Umm... not really?
A triple vote would actually be really unfair to give to scum in a small game, because, at a bare minimum, it turns the Day 3 (or so) lynch into a free scum NK without the town having any way of knowing this. If I couldn't use my triple-vote when we got down to five people it'd be fair(er) to town, but that's not mentioned in my role pm.

I'd also have no motivation to mention this to you guys if I were scum? Like it brings attention to myself

Okay, let's look at two hypothetical scenarios.

1. Scum MrStrife has the power to triple-vote. He keeps this secret and either insta-lynches a player at lylo, thus insta-winning the game, or, if it looks like he's about to be lynched, adds three votes to any competing wagon, thereby likely surviving for another day and taking the town completely by surprise.
2. Scum MrStrife announces that he has this power to the town. He maybe,

maybe

gets town-cred for being open about it, but will likely completely unnecessarily draw attention to himself at the very beginning of the game and potentially making town feel like he's a good utility lynch in case he's scum as a result of his power. And completely ruining the element of surprise that the power would bring.

Like, even if it is WIFOM, that doesn't really change the fact that it's a completely suboptimal play that makes little sense for scum to make?

Also, the first part of my post has literally nothing to do with WIFOM. Like, "The mod wouldn't do this because it's completely broken" is in no way a WIFOM justification?

Town gains: Having his power known by Town
Town losses: Having his power known by Scum, Scum possibly killing him for said power, Scum possibly having some sort of roleblocking for his power etc.

Scum gains: Having the power out in the open early lessens the scum reads for when it's actually used, and the WIFOM and defense of him that you are giving.
Scum losses: ummm people like me shoving it down his throat?
