I had literally nothing figured out setup-wise and before I got my role PM this was going to be what I asked about generally.
After I got it, it was going to be what I asked about generally.

I'm guessing that in a setup like this the only way for the scum faction to win is to intelligently fakeclaim at the correct moments? (and quickly decide on a bomb if it secures the game or averts a loss...)

Really interesting to think about though, thanks. I like new stuff like this. I think the main thing that makes it difficult in a forum scenario with private comms as opposed to face-to-face is the ability for someone like ika to have multiple simultaneous 'private' conversations. Face to face that's not going to happen. Really solid play from ika though, and nice honest claims from FB and herrcombs.

This game kinda comes to show how obvious i will be towards thing and how honest i am. I gave my role out to 2 people and from there just worked in the skype group to sort it out. I will say that myplay here is also a show of how i like to play. Very high risk, high reward. if you read the end of the fire skype logs i told him to pass to RC and would of doomed us. I said it in the group too, RC did well.

The funny thing is that me and RC in the group chat were saying "TURBO LYNCH"

it was also prob what helped us win the game TBF cus literally after the claim i went "FUCK IT" and passed it.

Heh, well what I was thinking was that as the bomber role you'd want to either pre-emptively or counterclaim something that hadn't been claimed / counterclaimed yet. I hadn't gotten around to thinking about how that would be coordinated or optimal, just that the two bombers would never claim the same thing.

Soooooooooo, if I'd counterclaimed son convincingly and schmoozed you in a private chat, things might have turned out differently.

(most likely not, but maybe :P )

I would've liked the opportunity to talk to Vedith pre-game as well. Maybe in that case we would have been bastards and held off our confirms (egh or stalled the start somehow, not sure if that's actually a thing or not) until a time we could both be super-active and do some theatre or influencing. As it was, I didn't want to delay the start of the game.
