I'm transfering the domain name to my host. It may cause some problems with cookies or what not temporarily. Don't panic. :)

Will this mean the usual 24-48 hours of DNS hell, or is it something simpler?

Might be important for deadlines...

I'm not actually sure. The nameservers will be the same either way as far as I know, so I'm not sure whether the change will even be noticeable.

It might be worthwhile bookmarking (or just remembering) http://mafiascum.mithmojo.net/forum just in case.
