I wonder who actually believes I knew my partners and who doesn't but is using that to further their push. I was just as uninformed as the rest of town presumably were, and wasn't really sure how to play it so scumhunted as usual while taking care to throw universal shade.

I would consider alignment changes to be something you weren't aware of ahead of time -- IE, you can get culted out of nowhere. Telling you that you're a traitor who has the possibility to defect to town isn't bastard IMO

That's covered tangentially under secret win conditions though. I've always understood mid-game alignment changes to mean... mid-game alignment changes. As written. I don't think I'm the only one. :/
