This is my second game of Mafia EVER. First was town. I'm going to have to rely on you for strategy. I plan to play straight forward. Someone does something scummy I'll call 'em. I'll post my first game if you want.
I think we should try to flush out either cop or JK, whichever there is. That way we know if we have 1SBP. If we can get a conf on D1, we should have a significant advantage.
I'm back! I'll have a post up on general strategy as soon as I sort my affairs elsewhere, and then I'll review your other game real quick to see if I have some more specific pointers.

Just want to be sure you guys realize that you have night talk only. As soon as the final player confirms, the game will start and this thread will lock. You may want to prioritize saying whatever you want to before the game starts.
In this setup, the Roleblocker is pretty integral to the scumteam's success. This means that your play should mostly be geared towards looking town, getting towncred, etc. This means that it's probably a good idea for you to fake suspicion on me if you can find the opportunity, and that you probably shouldn't agree with whatever mislynch I'm pushing, things like this. It is very very important that you are as active as possible; being active shows that you care about the game and it means people will be far less reluctant to lynch you.

As the Goon to your Roleblocker, my priority will mostly be getting mislynches so you don't have to and outing power roles. As the IC, I'll have a little more sway in town automatically by virtue of my experience and my experience alone, so I'll use it to push lynches early on to see if I can get a couple of my power role suspects to claim; if I manage to get a VT to claim Day 1, I'll probably try to move the wagon off them and onto someone else if possible.

If either of us are wagonned and forced to claim today, it's extremely important that we claim a power role in order to make the game winnable for the other player; if you are wagonned to a claim, you should claim Doctor so the real doctor is forced to out themselves (if you're counterclaimed by a One-Shot Bulletproof, it's optimal play for the Jailkeeper to claim as well, so I'll know both power roles). If the real doctor doesn't out themselves in that situation, the cop can claim and the doctor can protect them unilaterally and the chances of us winning are next to none.
If I am wagonned and forced to claim today, I will claim Tracker - this will ensure that the only power role that can counterclaim me is the investigative role (the biggest threat to you); this will allow you to block them and hunt for the doctor in the meantime.

I've glanced through your first town game; the only advice that I'd give you in mafia play is when you're being pressured, don't give up. Fight like hell, and really make the town work for it. Don't self-vote, but don't be afraid to appeal to their emotions a bit; say that you've played the best you possibly could and you don't understand why people are voting you, say that you think that one of the players that is on your wagon is voting you because they think you're a threat and that you're really frustrated because no one trusts you even though you've done everything you could and please please please listen to you after your dead and lynch whoever you're scumreading.

I don't think I have anything else? I'm not a player that typically posts big IC walls or whatever, hands-on is better than theory 9/10. The only thing that I emphasize is to be active; if you're active and posting, I'll more likely than not be able to spin your posts into looking town. If you're not, it's a hell of a lot harder.

Claiming tracker's a good idea. However, there is no tracker.......... there can't be. BUT, it would make the Doc or BP believe that there is no RB, OR force the JK or Cop to claim. Also, investigative role? is that cop? Cus, JK could also counter.
Investigative role means either the cop or the jailkeeper (in this setup, there is an investigative role that can gain information and a protective role that can prevent night kills. jailkeeper is technically protective/manipulative but in this case "investigative" works just fine).

Thread unlocked for night phase. You may submit your actions here if you prefer, or via PM. If there is any contradictions, I will go with the last submitted actions that are submitted before the deadline. I also will keep a watch in case you have any questions although obviously there's only so much I can say.
As a reminder, you may submit placeholder actions and change them later. That is a good habit so you avoid missing deadlines if something comes up. Please remember to specify WHO is doing what. Obviously only your roleblocker can block, but you need to specify who is doing the killing as well.
