Once, a scholar betrayed his fellows at Byrgenwerth and brought forbidden blood back with him to Cainhurst Castle. It was there that the first of the inhuman Vilebloods was born. The noble caste of Cainhurst were known sent their knights forth on sanguine hunts, yet it was the very act of consuming the forbidden blood that called forth the unbridled fury of the Church--it is said that only a single noble queen remains.

In the present day, the Vilebloods are hunters of blood, and hunt prey as they search for blood dregs. Pledged to their immortal queen and emboldened by her forbidden blood, Vilebloods deliver blood dregs to their queen in hopes of delivering an heir to the Cainhurst legacy. Any hunter who joins them is faced with a decision: to merely borrow their strength, or to become one of them, heart and soul.

All members of the Cainhurst Vilebloods have access to the
CORRUPTION RUNE
:
The first time that you are hammered each day, you will retroactively require one more vote to lynch. Has no effect in LYLO.

All members of the Cainhurst Vilebloods have access to the
CAINHURST BADGE
:

They may purchase the following set of armor privately;
CAINHURST ARMOR
- 10,000 Echoes: No other player's ability may cause you to require less votes to lynch.

They may purchase the following weapon privately;
CHIKAGE
- 12,000 Echoes: If you vote for a player who is not voting, your vote counts as double. TRANSFORM: Each time you vote, you permanently require 1 less vote to lynch (to a minimum of 0, killing you). Your voting power is equal to 1/2 the required votes to lynch any given player (if this number happens to be less than 3, you will instead simply cast 3 votes).

All members of the Cainhurst Vilebloods will earn Blood Dregs when slaying town players.
Blood Dregs may be spent as currency for the following rewards:
INSIGHT
- 1 Blood Dreg: You gain 1 Insight.
DEEP RESPECT
- 2 Blood Dregs: Other members of the CAINHURST VILEBLOODS may not target you with non-factional abilities.
CAINHURST ARMOR
- 3 Blood Dregs: No other player's ability may cause you to require less votes to lynch.
CHIKAGE
- 4 Blood Dregs: If you vote for a player who is not voting, your vote counts as double. TRANSFORM: Each time you vote, you permanently require 1 less vote to lynch (to a minimum of 0, killing you). Your voting power is equal to 1/2 the required votes to lynch any given player (if this number happens to be less than 3, you will instead simply cast 3 votes). In order to use this effect, use the bolded tag [TRANSFORMED CHIKAGE: Player Name].

Pretty interesting. We need a hydra PT too.

Varsoon: So using the Chikage, we may either vote for 1/2 the required votes to lynch someone(NOT half of the publicly known lynch threshold, so if someone is hated/loved to some degree, the number of votes we use will reflect that, right?), OR vote for 2x whatever our normal vote, made without using a weapon or any other effect, would be?

The TRANSFORMED vote on the Chikage will cast votes based on the public amount required.
Alternatively, you may use the regular voting action with the Chikage to cast double of what your normal vote would be.
There are effects, such as 'Blood Stone' that can enhance your normal named vote.

Example: Fire Paper, and Transcendance, used with the Chikage, on someone who does not have beasthood.

2 votes from transcendance, 1 vote from the fire paper, doubled by the non transformed chikage, for 6 votes?

Or would it be 4 votes from transcendance+chikage, +1 from using the fire prefix?

The FIRE PAPER's extra vote would be added after the 4 votes that Chikage would apply.

Also omg dude the flavor is amazing. :D

pedit: Cool, so Chikage will normally be worth 2 votes, up to 4 at most from publicly known items, but if there are any other effects which enhance our vote they would also be affected by the doubling.

Is that correct?

All I mean is I'm at work I need time to process that yo

Also, could you do a plain text of the shop charts underneath, like you did in space dandy? My phone is 99.9 percent of my mafia playing, and it won't display them right. Like the right side gets cut off. Same with our role pm, I'll need to check that when I get on a computer to really digest it

Oh, the corruption rune: retroactively require one more vote to lynch? How does this differ from being loved? If someone casts enough votes to lynch us+ 1, will we still be lynched? Or is it just that the existing number of votes must remain and they must gain one more, in order to cause the lynch?

It is retroactive upon being lynched.
Let's say you have 5 votes on you and the game requires 6 for you to be lynched.
Let's say I vote for you with a FIRE PAPER--that would be two more votes, ultimately equaling 7.
Retroactively, you will require one more vote to be lynched so long as you are beyond the lynch threshold.
So it's like Loved but it ALWAYS triggers when you're hammered.
So you can never be hammered instantly by a single player, whereas a Loved Player could be.
I hope that makes some degree of sense.

I think I get that, yeah.

So if us or someone we don't want to die (who is a member of this thread) is at l-1, and we could hammer them with a bunch of multivote bullshit all at once, and then they'd need more votes, and then we unvote, rendering them nearly unlynchable

...? I hope that makes sense and or works in some way, just floating an idea

So long as a player is beyond the lynch threshold required for them to be lynched, they'll require any other single player to add on a vote.
For instance:
A player requires 4 votes to lynch.
They have 3 votes on them.
Someone comes in and puts 6 votes on them.
Corruption rune triggers--they now require a single extra vote to be lynched.
So long as they are above 4 votes, the next vote will lynch them.
So if someone unvoted and they were at 8 votes on them, they'd still be fine, but so long as they are above the lynch thresh-hold, one extra vote will do it.

Oh. So someone could unvote for less than the difference, and then revote? LIke in the example you stated, say someone has two weapons, one with a double vote, one with the sextuple vote. Sextuple voter 6x votes them, and unvotes, then double votes them, putting them at 5 *after* the effect has triggered.

That would lynch them, yes? It just requires more work to do so than just a quickhammer, and only those who are in this PT will understand how it works so it's unlikely people will figure out how to get around it.

Yes.
In Bloodborne, the Corruption Rune provides a small amount of health regeneration when at low health.
The idea, to emulate this, is to give players a little bit of extra breathing room, but if someone just continues to 'attack' them, they're doomed anyway.

Welcome Randomidget! Hopefully you did accept our invitation. As you can see, we neighborize and empower people, but we can only talk at night. :(

Thank you for whatever it is you did...but...what was it? I'm going to include a list of abilities/things I could see this power causing, along with a corresponding code. Just include whatever the corresponding code is on it's own line in your first post of the day, so I can start considering the possibilities.

A=Blood Echoes
B=Insight
C=Shop Item
D=Unique Weapon
E=Unique Armor
F=Roleblock
F=Bodyguard
G=Neighborize
H=Watcher
I=Tracker
J=Rolecop
K=Vig
L=Sensor
M=Doctor
N=Commute
O=Cop(lol)
P=Bulletproof
Q=Gladiate
R=Loved
S=Masonizer
T=Jailkeeper
U=Gunsmith
V=Ascetic
W=Lynchproof
X=Empower
Y=Other, not listed.

If the ability is unlimited, follow the letter with the number 0. Otherwise, the number following indicates, depending on which item it is, how many thousand blood echoes, how many shots of the ability, or how far down the list of items in the shop the effect is located.

Also, did you gain a blood vial from yesterdays lynch on Bogre? We did, it's a one shot self doc(lol).

If so, have a post of your own early in the day with the word "Codex" followed by the answer to this question, and information regarding what the vial does if you did receive one, using the above code.

Also, I recommend you save your echoes for the Chikage. It's...really good.
