Hello Dunnstral! This is only my second time playing scum. Here's what I suggest:

1. Recruit traitor
2. JOAT
3. Bulletproof

I think we can do without the daytalk. However, recruiting the traitor and the JOAT will be extremely helpful to us.

I don't think we should recruit the traitor.

They are bulletproof I believe and it just gives away another power (if we hit someone and they don't die, we can assume they're the traitor. We can also traitor hunt)

I also do not think we should take bulletproof. Super low chance of working in our favor, and gives an extra power

In fact, I don't think we need the JOAT either. I think we can do this without any powers at all, limiting town power as well

If anything we should grab the role cop

The mafia traitor will probably do something scummy to give himself away. The role cop will be good to help us find the power roles.

Yeah I like the role cop personally

Helps us to either kill prs or help find the traitor

There's also a lack of association from a traitor flip

Last two times I played scum (one here, one offsite), I was lynched D1. How do you recommend that I play scum? I seem to be fairly bad at it.

For the record I've played this setup before and I was the traitor and:

I never softed anything
Scum picked no prs
Scum won without losing anyone


I'd be down for role cop though. I just think the other stuff we actually gimp ourself

I don't really know how to help you. If you play more you'll eventually get better. Just don't be nervous

ThinkBig, keep in mind that if you're pushing a scummy town but they don't really want to seem to push you they
