OK, so I threw every game on my placement matches by playing Zilean Support trying to get into low bronze so I can experience the climb and play with my other Bronze5 friends

Holy shit silver 4 is still soo nooby. Played a game where twitch called mid, me as zyra and Morgana ended up playing bot (and owning hard).
Had a game as Sion top where I reached 100cs while the malphite was still at 40.
Also had a game where I just picked Malphite support in a team with Yasuo, Amumu, Pantheon and Twitch and we wombo'd the game before 30min.
And I managed to solo carry as Malzahar mid when top and bot fed insanely, but since we had vayne and they didn't run any exhaust/ignite I just stalled till 50mins when Vayne finally had items.
Ranked is surprisingly more fun then I had imagined. Aside from the ocassional feeder and flamer, they're actual fun games with fun people
we are talking about the same game, right?
this is the game that made me play maplestory for a week because I was fed up with it
Nope, already in my promo's for S3. Maybe it's the difference in attitude's? I tend to have fun with the team, congratulate them if they make a kill or make a good play, and generally try to direct the team if they are capable of taking leads. Also already had 2 invites to duo with people from my former teams. I'm having fun.
S4 is not that impressive though. Not lost a lane yet since being placed there. Even when I get directly countered.

Like full all out force the all in balls-deep aggression. It's not like he has his cooldowns / mana to keep up anyway. The ones that try to be aggressive I at least show some respect for and don't just go all out constantly. It might be due to the fact that I really love malzahar and hate to see his potential wasted on people that think you just afk push with him and that there's nothing else interesting in the lane. Malz makes jungle ganks the easiest thing ever. There's so much kill potential in the lane that it's wasteful to focus only on the roam game (especially when you consider the fact malz is pretty fucking immobile).
Also congrats on promo ani
Thats true, but Malzahar alone cant push towers fast and since I dont want to rely on my jungle to show up. I rather roam bot/top, make a play there, then push a tower or a drag. That way, it opens that lane up to help me push mid

Aoe engages in the jungle are really good right now with Quill coat: Malphite and Amumu are really good and I can safely say Zac is OP as fuck now in the jungle

I'm really getting tired of all these ranged toplaners at the moment. Out of my last 5 toplanes, i've faced Lulu, Vayne, Ryze, Teemo and Shyvana. Because of this, I just rarely want to play top anymore. It has just become such a boring lane to play

I had a 55 minute game yesterday trying to get a friend of mine out of bronze 5. Apparantly grouping up there means pushing the lanes up to nexus turrets solo. After 15 minutes they finally understood and then it was finally over. But it was fun seeing Twitch position as a tank and fiddle ulting minions, missing the champions by a full screen

LOL,
had that once when playing dfg Annie mid. Their corki was winning in cs and kept pushing. So I kept roaming down and oneshotting him. After the third death he just left

I'm still practicing Global ults in solo queue just to force myself to get better at map awareness. Shen, Karthus, Soraka... I'm improving though. Picked up a triple with Shen with a good ult

Hehe Saki. I had such an experience as well. Had a very abrassive zyra support that was gloating that she was carrying the game for our team. So next game she is on the enemy team and counterpicks my malzahar with Lux, being cocky in all chat again. Then I straight up beat her ass by roaming more effective and only csing from a distance, going even there. Then she was suddenly saying we needed to report her team. Some people

Holy shit.
faced a fizz yesterday as malzahar. Denied him the whole game by standing in front of the minions. And every time the wave hit the turret Xin and I would dive him. He ended with 34cs to my 200+cs. Holy shit that was funny
In post 33390, JasonWazza wrote:That fizz probably wasn't having fun (did their jungler gank?)
Also i find it kinda funny that the support almost has more CS then him.
Their jungler ganked like three times and succeeded once.
The enemy team asked for a report him but I felt too bad for him. I was amazed how he was silver 1 though.
Silver 1 is like being the smartest kid in the slow class. Also it's a pretty hard counter lane if he doesn't kill you at level 3, which i'm gonna have to assume he didn't.
He did actually. I misscalculated the range of Amumu's Q. He hit me with the tip and then I was pretty much dead right then and there. But he still played the lane all scared, which is the wrong idea if you're playing an assassin.
You're right about the first though. My friend who managed to get 60cs as Ashe after 20 minutes got placed into Silver I, whereas I got placed Silver III. I don't care though because everytime I bother to play ranked now (usually, to get rid of that annoying inactivity in ranked message) I win and can usually carry with something like Malzahar. But I enjoy playing all champs which is a bad idea in ranked because people don't appreciate it if you take something like Poppy top.

I still like the occassional triple RoA on Ryze/Singed.
Just played ranked again after a long break and got both my accounts to promotions towards Silver II. Had a game where we built a comp around Yasuo with Vi and Malphite, and Yasuo feeds like a motherfucker and becomes toxic and starts trolling, going solo all the time. Then we still win because of a good Trist.
Also had two games as Malz where I went 6/0/5 and 8/1/6. Akali cried.
Not sure if I wanna tryhard to gold. I just get bored so quickly playing ranked because I want to win there as oppposed to normals, where I just play fun stuff.

If you suck at a certain role, just borrow a champ from another lane though if it's bronze. Never play top? Pick your adc corki. Never play mid? Play your support zyra. That shit will still work in bronze

Yeah. Ori is easy to farm, hard to utilize and take advantage of your opponent. You need to practice ball control and range a lot. But she can be good and safe

It was okay. Pre6 all you wanna do is farm. I put 3 points in w againdt gnar and started with cloth5. At my first teleback I bought glacial shroud and my mana was fine after that. It took me a while to catch up in farm because melee/vs ranged but once you get 8/9 you'll Control that lane and can kill gnar over and over

Although I have noticed that his super late game drops off as everyone else start to catch up with you.
He feels pretty useless vs ranged though. You'll need a lot of patience pre6.
I love building IE/youmoo on him though. That way he'll always be relevant
