I always feel like Nami's passive is really underwhelming.

You can bubble your team mates to give them an MS boost.

I've seen this but it feels very.... uh... bad unless you have max CDR to waste your CC ability on that? Am I missing something?

2) BROseidon responded by saying you could use Nami's Q to get to lane or roam faster.

6) Nami's passive gives 40+(0.1*AP) movement speed for 1.5 seconds.
7) Thus, if you assume 20AP from Runes/Masteries/Items, casting Q on yourself will net 42*1.5 = 63 units of distance.

You would still LOSE 20 units of distance by Qing yourself as you head back to lane. You would need 150 AP in order to break even, which won't happen unless you are well into the game (at which point, you'd have boots and actually lose even MORE distance), or you're fed and snowballing hard, in which case it probably doesn't matter that you get back to lane a tenth of a second faster.

TL;DR, don't cast Q/W on yourself as Nami if you're trying to get somewhere quickly. Only E is worth because it has no cast time/animation lockout.

This isn't a troll question, and isn't directed specifically at glork. If you get crushed in lane as ADC should you still be going for the normal path? Is it better to go for something that will spike earlier? should you be building defensively and just give up on damage for a while(but then I think you're useless).

ADC is pretty much the exception to the rule. Mages can kind of get away with it, too. But I'm tired of seeing that 0/7 jungle Kha'Zix building a Hydra after his SotEL, or the 0/2 + down 50cs Nidalee building pure AP out of top.

One of my biggest weak points is, once the laning phase has ended and it turns to objective control, I tend to get a little lost. Sometimes it's fine because our team actually communicates, and other times it's like everyone just runs around doing their own thing and I wind up randomly split pushing lanes or something when I feel like I should be grouping to take objectives.

What would you all recommend for trying Corki?

Practice, practice, practice. I sucked balls at Corki the first dozen or so times I played him. So I stopped playing him for a long time. Then I picked him up again and sucked again but stuck it out. Now he's my main.

R > Q > E > W

Take one rank in W at level 2 if you have any fear of being ganked or CC'd by the enemy support.
Don't forget pots. Corki is really mana hungry early on, and I'll typically get one mana pot on my first back to sustain my way through lane better.
Speaking of first back: If you have enough to get Sheen, do that. Otherwise, get Phage parts, and then get Sheen after you finish Phage.
Like with any Triforce champ, practice weaving AAs with your abilities.
Take advantage of your Triforce power spike. As soon as you get Triforce, you want to be taking over the map. Push towers, pokepokepoke, zone jungle camps/dragon.


Triforce, Sorc Shoes, I Edge, Last Whisper, (lifesteal item)/(defensive item) in either order... much of the time this is what your build order will look like. Obviously it's situationally dependent.

FWIW, while I was listening, I have one main suggestion for quadz. Try to be more informative and do less assessing quality of plays. I heard a lot of "that was a bad flash from <champion>" which, for a play-by-play caster, is the exact opposite of what you want. Someone who isn't actually watching the game should have a pretty clear picture of what's going on just by listening to the play-by-play commentator. Think about what you hear when you listen to any sporting event on the radio. The play-by-play commentator needs to make you picture the action in your mind, while the color commentator asseses and gives flavor. Also, between the two games, I think you recapped what was going on exactly once. Remind the listener/viewer what the game state is. Who's ahead, by how much gold? What's the dragon situation? Towers? Make sure you're communicating this stuff, especially during any break in the action.

I think Bard suffers from a major issue where he is useless in any low elo solo play, but if you want to buff him for that, he'll be comparatively OP in high elo. Too low a skill floor and roll high a skill ceiling with his kit.

I find myself having a really hard time carrying out of top lane.

I can win lane as adc/support and carry just fine, or win multiple lanes as jungle. But whenever I play top, I usually win my lane and at least half the time watch hopelessly as the rest of the map falls to shit. I usually play Gnar or Mao, if they're available. Gnar I can be split push master and at least create map control issues for the other team, but I feel useless as Maokai even when I get way ahead. Maybe I just need to play more hard-carry style top laners?

EDIT: Like my most recent game as Maokai, I came out of lane 0/0/1 and up 60 cs on their Zed, but the rest of my team was like 2/12 at that point and we wound up surrendering at like 25 minutes. Our "support" Amumu never bought a Sightstone or a ward, so I couldn't TP to teamfights or anything. Best I could do was make Zed useless, but my team completely flubbed everything else.

You don't need to make ranked teams. You just need to play 5man premades. Even ARAM/Dominion count.

That item i feel like will turn into a noob trap, because the junglers that benefit from it, are the ones that benefit most from Lichbane anyway (apart for a slightly faster clear speed possibly, not sure about that one though.) and Lichbane will generally be better for what is AP junglers at this time.

Not to mention most of the AP junglers don't have that bad an AoE clear speed anyway.

It will be interesting to see that enchantment when it actually comes to live.

Well naturally runeglaive items are worse than Lich Bane items. They also cost way way less. The thing is, something like Runeglaive+2nd item (such as RoA) is comparable to <otherJungleitem>+Lichbane so if gives you more build flexibility and a more reasonable mid game

No. If you grab them while they have a poison cloud around them, you get poisoned which I think reduces your speed for a short period. If you grab them while they do not have the little poison cloud, you collect them as normal with no penalty. There's an achievement for grabbing 15 without getting poisoned.

Sometimes, yes. And in lane I certainly plan/communicate how long my flash will be down. If I get tanked at 4:15 and have to burn flash, knowing the cool down in minutes:seconds is infinitely more helpful than seeing a 300 or 270 second cool down and doing math from there. Or if you need to communicate when your TP will be up for that dragon fight. These things are invaluable, especially in a team setting.

I don't start changing my play to account for an incoming power spike until my abilities are well under 100 seconds from being online. I don't feel like I need to convert 100 seconds to 1 minute 40 seconds. 100 seconds is just like a superminute.

With the ADC rework and hopefully the Rift Herald being impactful enough to balance out the early game map a bit, I am interested in these off-season changes. Might give ranked play a go next season.

For me I think it was mostly the "dealing with cancer" thing. While undergoing the stress associated with treatment, I wanted to play games simply to have fun, not to be hypercompetitive, and that's how ranked felt to me. Even now, I play League maybe once or twice a week, instead of several times per day. I would rather play games by myself or with people who don't rage at every opportunity.

But the PROJECT one was obviously for skins. It was obviously relatable to PROJECT: Yasuo. This has nothing of the sort. the PROJECT line got an entire mini-website. This got some updated icons and 10-second long teaser animations (closer to Kalista and Jinx than anything else).

It's not a true heal. Your HP scales up but then it scales back down when you revert to mini Gnar.

I was mostly wondering if Warlords would help Gnar survive those times when all-inning as mega-Gnar doesn't get the job done and you just get dumpstered when you revert having not killed the other dude.
