Chances are unlikely that your ult is up before tp, or that you need to be there to contest dragon that early. Its a perfect start for a laneswap Sion because he cant be bullied out that easily with the extra pots and start lvl2

Vision is a lot more important then you think. My team as me playing Garen won against a Vayne and huge stacks Nasus at 50 minutes while they were ahead the entire game. They simply didn't win because they could never pick us off .

Tried Veigar mid last week and forgot how amazing it is. With Q being a skillshot now makes him a far safer laner then before.

Also, new Ryze is AMAZING. Once you got a bit of CD from his R he can spam spells crazier then before. Holy shit

Clearly you havent played her as of late. Sure, she lost a bit of her early pressure but she still does well what she did earlier, which is zone your opponent off of farm. If you can get used to predict movement to hit your Q and zone with W, you will shut down the enemy laner pretty heavy if they can't match your aggression. And she scales much better then old cassio.

You shouldn't play Cassio as an assassin though. Just zone them and let them fall behind in farm, and until you have warded your entire midlane, you shouldn't actively look for kills because she gets ganked all too easy. I have played Cassio a couple days ago and put a video on my YouTube about her if interested

But like, on what support do you have mana problems? and what are your starting items (because I almost always run relic/coin/spellthief and 2-3 hp pots and 1-2 mana pots)?

Almost every support (with the exception maybe being Sona) should have no mana problems if they are timing their backs correctly and/or not wasting mana (ex if you're missing every blitz hook and throwing out bad ones yeah you'll run out of mana).

I bring the same, but on champs like Zyra and Nami I usually run out of mana quickly. And with Nami I tend to bring 2/2 on pots.
And timing backs correctly is a relative term. You should 'time' your back alongside your ADC as support

I find Cait severely lacking in teamfight presence, which is the current meta after all. Its usually better to have tricks to get outta a sticky situation with utility then it to have consistent range, since its all about hard engage anyway

Sheen procs seem really silly on ww. He only procs it consistently with his q, since all other abilities have long cooldowns or dont trigger it at all. Black cleaver seems worth trying, but ww procs more magic damage then anything so it seems really not that great. With devourer/botrk/wits your aa at max attack speed should give you enough damage and enough lifesteal to outduel any adc

You need to make sure that after a few of the enemy minions kill a minion from you, they want to aggro you. Then you pull them to a specific minion and disappear yourself in the fog of war. Then their minions should all attack the specific minion that was closeat to you. If that happens, your minions should die quicker then theirs because your waves damage output is less then the opponents because they focus a specific minion while yours is random. You should watch games at worlds and see what happens when the minions get pulled. You can compare it in a way with freezing the lane because you interfere with how the wave works because of your champion.

In solo queue you should rarely ever freeze a lane. It can result in taking poke from your enemy laners. It kinda depends on the lane as well though. Classic example is Nasus, who always wants to be pushed in and farm safely under tower, and in top lane it's a lot more forgiving because of the usual melee vs melee matchup. Botlane is a lot tougher but sometimes a lot more useful where there is for example an opponents evelynn in the jungle. On blue side, you can drag some of the minions towards tri bush to avoid them from hitting tower and create a free very close to your tower, to make your lane ungankable unless they want to dive. And it gives your jungler a lot of opportunity's as well.

Though if you freezing the lane causes your lane opponents to take other objectives, like mid tower or contest dragon/your buffs, you should just shove. I've had a lane before where a Nasus froze the lane in front of his tower and as a melee champ I couldn't break the freeze easily, I just went into their jungle and took stuff or simply showed up mid and pushed the tower there.

Overall, shoving in solo queue is better because you want towers or time to roam over the map.

Holy shit, had a yasuo that went mid when I had called mid. Then he proceeds to feed the mid Viktor when I had rushed to top while not running armor runes against gangplank. We eventually got 8k behind, then stole a baron, won 2 teamfights and won the game. Some games are so weird.

Chances are you're better off with the level advantage then a couple of pots or an extra dorans of your own. Wait till ignite is up again and kill him again, try to deny him in lane or simply say to your jungler that you can snowball if you het a gank and then back.

I find it so odd though that my best role is toplane because I almost always outplay them there, but I hate the role. Especially in team ranked my friends want me to play there because they know they never need to gank me then. But it being so late to group with the team makes me feel the role so boring.
Its also funny that whenever I play jungle, my worst role and role I always try to avoid, when I do have to play it I play Rammus and just win every game I've played with him in season 5. Does anyone else have picks like that? Its like whenever I play alistar support, my other lanes feed, when I play Tahm support, we always win and the other team whines about how Tahm is broken.

Also, Teemo vs Quinn top is like the silliest lane phase of fuckall times

Ugh I hate high elo Yasuo/Riven mains because once he kills you, its almost impossible to exert pressure anymore without thr risk of getting your shit pushed in. But you also learn a lot from it. A couple days ago me and my brother (both gold) faced a botlane that was diamond/gold. The lane went even and every time there was a trade you immediatly know what you did wrong if you lose the trade. Previously I just got angry facing high elo players but Ive come to learn that they are still just human and make mistakes. And it feels good when you beat that platinum 1 player once

His kit is good, the problem (as with most utility mids) is the lack of damage to an extent of actually killing someone (the difference being, you can probably 50% a person, i don't think Zilean can reliably 100-0 someone) meaning it's mostly good in a scenario where either you outskill (having no way to solo kill hurts you in solo queue), or you're playing for the team.

I've stalled out a game to 50 minutes by the waveclear of Zilean up until the point where we won a 6v5 with my ult. You can just E away to keep yourself alive most of the time. And with most solo queue monkeys wanna play killing champs its usually fine.

I was tilting so hard yesterday and its been a while since that happened. I was playing Nautilus support with my ADC kalista. She didnt know she had a passive. Everytime I said she needed to use her passive she responded we should play agressive not passive. After commenting for 10 minutes she finally realizes the black spear in her inventory and uses it. It was her first time Kalista and she maxed Q and proceeded to be totally useless and feed her ass off. I'm a good support, but I just decided to roam after a while because of how bad she was. Eventually the enemy Vayne had 8 kills after like 15 minutes.

Played a game of Swain yesterday and he still feels clunky, but we needed a tanky'er mid and I had good experiences with Swain in the past. The fun thing about Swain though is that no one ever faces him so people try to burst him and then fail, they need to run as hell. Went RoA, Abyssal, Zhonya, Rylai's and felt I could tank a lot. Sad thing is the game dragged too long and with a Sivir and Cassio with Morello ultimately effed me.
I still think he'll have the same weaknesses, both in lane and teamfights

Didn't watch the replay, but seeing the teamcomps, probably vision control? You have an Udyr, Annie and Zed on the enemy team that can outduel in 1v1 situation compared to your champs. They're the one picking up all the kills in the end. Considering this is a low lvl game (seeing the summoner spells?), people got caught out and just died?

RoA may not be his thing anymore. I think the rework makes it into something that you only get when you're trying to snowball and early advantage, as its final stats are poorer now.

So go Athene/Morello for his mana issues? I must admit I did solokill my laner twice which allowed me to go negatron-> RoA finish at 15mins.

If you don't compare winrate to playrate it hardly matters. Urgot has a high winrate but he rarely sees play so it's more likely he's being played by those that play him more often. Lucian is an all around ADC that is often played even by those with ADC as a secondary role, so it makes sense his winrate is lower. I'd say with more people playing mages now, we're gonna see winrates plummet as well.
