Fallout 4

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

cooldog i'm really surprised you weren't captured by skyrim. oblivion was very "rinse/repeat" and bethesda acknowledged that by getting different artists for the dungeons.

i've played FO2, FO3 and NV. Of them, FO3 is my favorite just for the tone of the story - I am not really a fan of the radio in NV and it kind of changes the whole feel of the game. But NV had TONS AND TONS AND TONS AND TONS of unique content. I'm still playing it (and Skyrim too).

Very much looking forward to FO4.

I wasn't a fan of the legion either. the vegas strip/house aspect was kinda cool i guess, but it really lost the feel from FO3.

I was considering that, since I can hook it up to the TV now. I may. I just have a laptop but it plays Skyrim and Dishonored pretty well. I just wont have super duper ultra HD.

On steam it's $59.99 and the future DLC thingy is $29.99, which I would definitely get. I suppose. If my credit card wasn't currently maxed. Maybe next week.

In terms of gameplay, replayability and extra content, FONV is better
but
FO3 is the gateway. It's what will make you fall in love with the series.

Especially if this ^ is the case. FO3 is a bit more linear than FONV, and there's more guidance/direction.

absolutely the way to go :D

FONV is GREAT but I think it would be overwhelming for someone who's never played Fallout before. Plus I dig the story better. And the radio. Threedog is irreplaceable. The guy who does the radio in FONV is horrible imo.

That's the one that's just music, right? That's the only thing I listen to when I play. I couldn't stand the other dude. Turned him off right quick.
