i got origins but honestly the origins skins are shit compared to the other skins (except it's cool to see reaper as a human + solider 76 with no mask, but bastion's skin is so bad)

I just assumed more than one support would have incredibly diminishing returns (Symmetra might be the exception in place of a defensive character or tank).

I like Roadhog and am pretty good with him but if you get the Mercy on Bastion shooting from behind Reinhardt setup against you, there's not a whole hell of a lot you can do.

i actually think it's because there's no item/stat snowballing in this game so getting wiped out once isn't like "oh man the game is over". you spawn back in and you're back on even playing field in terms of ability to win a fight, so a death isn't that big of a deal

Aimbot only describes 76's ult. McCree's ult is a locking one shot kill. They're not similar.
Winston's ult makes you a tank and removes basic abilities to allow you to knock people around without doing a ton of damage.
Genji's ult makes him a glass cannon and has the highest damage output in the game.
Two snipers who both have supportive vision based ultimates would be very similar and very lazy, IMO.

The fact you aren't hitting anything is just cause you're new and learning curve.
I'm hitting though. I see it hit like crazy. The bullets just don't do any damage. I'm playing D.Va. Will tee off on torbjun or bastion for like...10 seconds without any response. then I die to either turret damage or bastion shooting me 3 times.
Just got number 1 in kills and damage. Wasn't even available for MVP vote.
KOTH is fun. The attack defend games are not fun.
D.Va doesn't do damage with her guns and they're considering giving her a slight damage buff to compensate for it but her deflection and zoning is insane. she's really good at disrupting healers and giving your team cover to move to another point. but don't play her expecting to be able to out dps a torb or bastion
don't play anyone expecting to out dps a well placed torb turret or bastion. you need reinhardt shield or winston's disrupt or long range snipes to take them out

Yeah basically what vonflare said
Soldier 76 is mid tier. Pharah is more useful than him in most situations due to her mobility. Tracer is incredible as a flanker, and a good tracer can easily 1v5 the enemy team.
Genji's deflection is the best weapon against stationary turrets like Torb or Bastion, and his double jump makes him very slippery and hard to hit.
McCree's ult kills people with a good enough setup but his bullet damage nerf recently does put him at the low end of the totem pole.
76 is the easiest to play but that doesn't mean he's the best character. Assuming low skill, sure.

Over/Under on the first full "expansion" to the game, and what it will contain?
I'm guessing it gets announced late this year with a 2018 release date. In order to charge ~$40 for it (which I'm assuming is what it'll be based on Blizzard's expansion model in other games), it would need to have a sizable amount of content.
My guess is that would need about 8 new heroes... maybe 3 maps? I dunno, it would have to be sizable, but Blizz is gonna have to do SOMETHING to fund future development.

With Starcraft, basically there were different ladders for each expansion. So people with just the base would queue on one ladder, people with the expansion would queue on another. At least, I think that's how it was done... it might've been that competitive was restricted to expansion only, while free play/arcade had different queues.

I don't think Loot Boxes are going to fund a team the size of Overwatch forever. We'll see. I predict about the time the gravy train starts running out we'll get an expansion. Maybe it'll be a new mode, like story mode or something.
In post 912, Clumsy wrote:I just saw all the changes to Ana. Damn, they're really hitting her hard. She was the leading support for so long though, there with Lucio. The self healing nerf is much less important I think, teams usually run 2 heals anyway. The damage nerf will be big, an extra shot for 200 hp heroes (especially Pharah) is a big deal. Pharah will be a lot less pressured from Ana now. Since Ana was used as the primary healer and Lucio (usually) or Zenyatta were used for secondary, this opens Mercy back up into the game again. With all the barriers, she should have a bit of an easier time too.
The nade nerf is as big a deal as the reduced damage. Both combine to make it much harder for Ana to win those duels against flankers, especially if her dart is on CD....which fundamentally changes the way your team needs to approach fights.
she is a sniper support; flankers should be her hardest counter
I do think they need to give her +HPregen though. The grenade was a way for her to regen health, now she has nothing really. Lucio has his regen song, Zen is mostly shield health, Mercy has passive regen, etc.
