i liked the third case a lot
it had i think two really solid wait what the fuck is going on moments for me and was generally pretty interesting and didnt just show you who the murderer is like the 2nd case
also think it's better than the fourth but i can see that there are *reasons* why they had to make the 4th case like they did- tanstalas

When I traded in my PS2 and all my games for money to buy the PS3, I got like $1- $5 per game, Fatal Frame I got like $20 because apparently it was a "rare" gameIn post 15638, xRECKONERx wrote:Fatal Frame.FlayTheScum 1:33 am

Case 3's murderer was obvious. Even more obvious if the NA release didn't have the sprite bug. He had the best breakdown, though.Pulling out the blackboard was such a get pumped moment.
The second case was ridiculous. Like, the point whereBlackquill literally walks out of the courtroom because the case was getting too insanejust summed it up perfectly.
Case 4+5 are probably the best cases in the series, though, so get hyped when you get there.
1-5, 2-4, 5-5 are the three best cases btw.Current Avatar: Dr. Contessa(OC, art by @pastelpuffin)- Umbrage

Well, I bought/preordered the Arkham Origins collector's edition to resell it to get enough profit to get the game for free. But Walmart was super slow with shipping and now it's no longer out of stock. Anyone know how long it takes for a CE to go back out of stock? I might wind up just keeping it, it's a nice CE for the most part.- Umbrage

Finished Ace Attorney 5-3. Was also disappointed at the end. I don't like how they casually slip in fairly important details instead of letting us find them out during the investigation, feels cheap.
Hopefully 5-4 is better. I know, I've said that twice now. This one has a much more interesting premise, though.- Umbrage

The problem is just that the character basicially verbalizes them instead of the game asking you like normal, which is annoying because you figure them out before he does.In post 15664, Umbrage wrote:so you want a sudden twist ending but you don't want important details thrown in at the end instead of the investigation"Don’t buy a dozen eggs if you just want a hardboiled egg. Fair enough. You just reminded me of the protagonist's considerably less glorious and much more cliche breakdown moments prior. That's another strike against that case... it ended up being a bit too saccharine, I think. ):In post 15668, Natirasha wrote:

He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.- Quilford

Also I'm getting a bit tired of all the lawyerly superpowers. 'Analytical psychology' (Athena's power, that is, not Jung's school of psychology)... c'mon.
I know I'm definitely making it out to be worse than I'm actually finding it. It's leagues ahead of Investigations (remember that game?) but it's fairly middling so far, like they assembled 1-1, 4-2, and 2-3 into the same game. - Quilford
