I actually tried to get that in Saturday/yesterday, but it wouldn't let me start the server at all afterwards. I might not be able to get any mods set up until bukkit is released

So, I was thinking about where to build the train station. What do you all think of -108/122? It's near the molested sand house

Sounds good, but is it possible to make it closer to the spawn point? (or we can just have a line going to spawn from there). Once we decide on the train station, I'll try to build a subway track from my town to there.

We decided to make stations on all continents (-/-,-/+,+/-,+/+) and link those to each other, then whichever you are closest to on your own, you link your base to.

If you want to take a look at an example, mine is finished.

Ok, after dying I tried to go get my stuff which was only like 60 meters away, but the sheer number of hostile mobs at the spawn pointed ended up killing me again and and again until it was finally day, but my stuff had disappeared.

Therefore, can we turn down the difficulty just a skish?

This is a work in progress. The file is huge (800k), and not everyone in the bookmarks is in yet. Anyone knows how to make it interactive-y using java script and/or google maps API? (so that you can make parts of the overlay appear/disappear)? If anyone wants to try their hand at improving the map, the edit file with layers and stuff is below:

I'm not entirely sure, but I think my trek to -500, -500 expanded the map a bit. I don't really care if I'm posted on it or not, but if I am UA will probably have to recreate the map or I'll just be out in white space.

So I was digging to find the source of some zombie sounds, and I broke through. What do I see through my one square hole? lava and water. The lava is a downward flow just one to the right of where I dug.... *sweatdrop*

edit: Oddly enough, there is already cobblestone around the lava flow... almost as if I'd already been there, but I know for a fact I haven't been this far underground and found lava before. Will keep you all posted on my progress. Turns out this was due to contact with the water I'd been hearing (I didn't see their contact until I dug my way to the roof of the cavern and looked through some spot holes).

I've dug more into it and it's a water filled cavern with a lava source block. Also found some redstone, iron, and gold in the area, which is always a nice bonus. 5 iron, 10 gold, and ~51 redstone in that one cavern + a bucket o' hot sauce.

You ninja'd my edit. Really kinda sad that I haven't found ANY dungeons despite finding a metric fuckton of natural caverns.

Finished half the road between Socio's shop and Tanstalas tower... I really recommend doing the Claus-Tans-Socio Route if you have the time, the road goes through some scenic spots.

There's one near the road between my igloo and the train station. I've put a sign near it, since you can farm strings there if you remove all the torches.

I was thinking single player. I don't have a house in multiplayer and have zero use for string (I intend to be the finder of good things that dies often...)

I am aware. I'd rather simply take half a heart of damage from a creeper with the bonus of lag almost certainly ensuring that the creeper damages nothing in the environment and punch a spider to death with my bare hands.

A sign was put at 305, -381 by me because I think there's a dungeon below it. Didn't have the right tools with me to dig it out. If there is a dungeon, it's a zombie dungeon.
