I prefer wood doors with pressure plates on the inside only. They auto close if you move off the plate and there is no need for precision click to open if you're running from a mob.

Apparently Endermen aren't keen on water. So I sat in a lake while I killed three of them.

Yup, I'm there at times. Got 5 more diamonds which doubles my count. Need fortune. I also found a mineshaft only 130 or so from the spawn house.

First one = nether portal co-ordinates in the nether
Second one = Stronghold
Third one = Unexplored Witches Hut, didnt have any weapons so couldnt fight it
Fourth one = stairway direct to end portal.

- Created a Stronghold Halfway House
- Created a Nether Portal to the Stronghold
- Died a couple times

The preparation ahs begun.

THIS ARMOR IS MY GIFT TO THOSE WHO ARE FIGHTING THE DRAGON. These suits of armor are NOT for use from now--->dragon. You will die. And lose these. And lose the diamonds i gained for us.

The only reason this armor should be removed between now---->endrun is to enchant them.

Andrius (Sollata), Maru (mrcheesete0), and Poro

have done the

VAST

majority of the work on this server to reach and succeed in the actual killing of the Ender Dragon...

so far!

But we still need a mob of Scummers to join in and fuck up the critter, so I think it's time we start organizing a time for The Finale. I'm thinking any time in the next 2-3 weeks when the most people can be online. No matter what time of day that is for my time zone (EST) I will also

try

to be online, most likely spectating, to offer helpful hints and some deus ex machinas for those that either aren't too skilled at combat or who haven't fought the Dragon since it got an overhaul relatively recently --- read: it's a lot harder now, friends.

PM me with the subject line "Ender Dragon Finale" or if we bother ETL enough maybe she'd be willing to let us use a thread poll, but last I checked those were pretty broken in the site's code, at least in this thread which has had dozens of polls before.

I'd also like to note that the work of the few does not go unrecognized. Klaz and I have been on and off of our own modded server this past week (two weeks?), and at least one of the three dedicated Scummers mentioned above has been online during

every single one

of my forays into Minecraft. Lots of deaths were suffered, lots of frustration vented, so I'd like to offer you three the opportunity to decide our next public Event! It can be anything from a 24/7 spleef arena / organized tournament, a giant Gauntlet-style obstacle course / maze, or a structured mini-game type Event like The Walls or

something

. (I don't know what cool maps the kids play with these days. I'm the tree-punching type.)

The only limitation I will place on this is that it cannot be for a Minecraft version earlier than 1.8.x and it cannot be an Ender Dragon run like we're working on now. Go out there and find us all something fun to do next! I'll be starting a PM with you three and Klaz soon, please do not post publicly about this process.
