fast paced? normally it's nice and quiet at that point and you just take a nice stroll to the weapon shop.. then run in fear when the shop closes once more

if you like roaming around a map with no actual objectives except to survive and it being coop only killing floor, If you want linear maps with actual objectives and coop and vs, l4d2 (though honestly it's basically the same as l4d). If you like killing people senselessly, hl2 dm.

This could not be further from the truth. There's no reason for anyone to own L4D and not L4D2 now that all the original maps and characters are available in the sequel. Not to mention the addition of the Spitter, Jockey, and Charger balances the game a whole hell of a lot more.

I've been on that for awhile, but they use all CS maps so most of the textures look horrible and have frozen my computer at times.

It's fun though.
