Hawken Closed Beta Signup

A little birdie told me the Hawken closed beta is going to start soon, sign up while you can! I am a huge MechWarrior/Battletech fanboy so I'm seriously looking forward to this. Gameplay footage:

I almost played Chromehounds when it came out.... almost. I did used to play MW2 though.

I played Battletech 3000 when it was on AOL and MW2. Also, I at some point played Battletech in one of those mall gaming places where everyone gets into a cockpit and plays. I think it was called Virtual Zone. Anyway, I had a birthday party there when i was a kid one year.

Its a PC title, Mechwarrior Online is its only real competition. I'm going to try both but Hawken looks more evolved from a gameplay perspective. Both are coming out this year and both will probably be f2p.
