Blood Bowl (again)

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

Huzzah, the fiber is up and running. Any league in sight?

I've got Chaos Edition and I've tried at least one game in matchmaking which worked out fine (except for two of my players getting killed and four badly hurt).

Not sure how often I'm likely to check in here though, so if you get a league together better PM me if I'm not present here on the forums.

I'd be happy to start up a league, if there are interested players. I'm already in BBNA, but another league with people I know would be cool. Unfortunately, I think Zorblag and Spyrex aren't exactly super active on the forums.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I find myself really wanting to play Blood Bowl. Not sure who's around, but even if there's not enough for a league, some pickup games would still be fun.

I'm almost always up for a pickup game, when I'm on. Would be cool if we could get this started again.

Well, I'm still here and interested in playing. That makes three of us, we only need one more to make a mini league.

SocioPath, Brandi, and PJ have started playing, as well, so that's potentially more. If we don't want a tourney, we may was well just play in Auld World, though.

Also, this week I have:
-Forgotten to change matchmaker settings, and played in a :40 game.
-Had my first player die on a failed GFI

Blood Bowl is a tactical game based on football, with a lot of wargaming thrown in. If you like wargames or tactical games, and enjoy fantasy flavoring, you'd probably like Blood Bowl.

I prefer leagues/tourneys/cups over matchmaking in auld.

However, I think you can make a mini matchmaking league with only registered teams.

What about making a league with only linemen allowed? Or only elves? Or only bashing teams? I know, I'm a theme junkie :)

Goblins, Vampires, Halflings, and Ogres only league.

Alas, it is not a unique event.

On a, slightly, more serious note: I wouldn't mind a league with the teams listed by Sudo above :)
