It's a better version of teamspeak and vent.

Not sure how it fares vs mumble in larger user counts but i've seen it host 200+ without issue, if you need to host larger group calls and don't care to rent a mumble server then raidcall works well.

raidcall is a fucking awful piece of software

RaidCall's text system is pretty bad. I don't recommend doing any kind of mafia on there.

That said, RaidCall is still better than Vent (although that's not saying much >_>).

i mean nothing against skype but its just so heavy of a program.. and dont get me started on the "new message noises"

i used teamspeak once, it was ok but seemed kind of weird and the audio quality felt worse than mumble but that might just be other people's mics

One of Teamspeak or Vent ruined my audio settings a while back when I had a desktop. That annoyed me and I swore off the program entirely.

I think it may have been Vent.

Teamspeak3 > Mumble > Raidcall > Skype > Ventrilo

Anything I haven't heard of goes after raidcall but before skype. Skype eats your bandwidth for no reason and ventrilo is just awful.
