Steam 2014 Winter Sale

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

Deciding whether or not its worth to take the 7 dollar skyrim deal. I have it on my ps3, but i don't have it up at school with me. You guys have any suggestions for alternatives to skyrim that'll keep my rpg loving self satisfied?
There's always the earlier Elder Scrolls games.

Dishonored is a great action/RPG that I'm currently obsessed with. (I'm assuming you want a Skyrim-like action/rpg)

Another great RPG that I think gets little love is Neverwinter Nights 2. It just might be nostalgia talking, but I think it's a fantastic game with great characters, and a HUGE modding community.
I'll explain it to you. You have to get someone else to understand it for you.

Dishonored looks pretty cool, thanks for the recommendation.

And yeah I want NWN2, but it isn't on steam anymore. Just baldur's gate

try GOG - I think that version even preinstalls some good mods

I highly recommend Monaco and would love more friends to play with.

I am DT.Dangerzone (nickname)

Game has alot of replay value given all the different classes, as well as the classic, enhanced, and zombie modes. (Classic = normal, enhanced = easy, zombie = wtf zombies!)

Dunno if the Australian Steam is different from elsewhere but there have been a few goodies lately.. managed to pick up:-

Deus Ex Directors Ed
Hitman Absolution Professional
(have this for PS3 but wanted to see the PC graphics and OMG INCLUDED SNIPER CHALLENGE)
Portal 2

..all for less than 5 bucks each $US

Eeeeend I see that Deadpool is there for five bucks today but screw that I've seen the gameplay :/

So one of the games I ended up with is Football Manager 2014.

I have no idea what I'm doing, but this game fascinates me tremendously so far.

Long Live The Queen is an interesting game, and not what it first appears.

I happen to have a Steam copy to gift to anyone interested enough to PM me about this. (I'm new to this whole Steam gifting thing, though.)

FM is really good. It's scarily in depth at times, too, which is awesome/off putting depending on your perspective.

Yeah, 11 as well. That's it though. Wish I could find 9, never played that. You do have to make a square enix account though. Besides that it plays fine. Currently at the Temple of Ancients now.

I've just been more and more turned off by the franchise as it's gone on - I used to be an avid player in 2005, and my interest has waned since about 2010, and it's now getting to the point where I don't even manage a season. It's too complex and requires too much input from my end :(
