One of many divine tracks from that game, other favorites are Garden and any of the voiced songs for the One Piercing Note quest.

Also: Route 113, Sootopolis City, Ever Grande City, Rustboro City, but pretty much anything from those divine trumpets.

Warning (or maybe just an interesting thing): If you listen with headphones the opening harp part passes from ear to ear. Also the Mysidia Theme.

This is pretty much always my first response to these threads.

And since it segues so nicely I'll give another. Different style, same kind of heavy chord backing.

Those are really good. For both I forgot I was listening to a VG track and thought it was just some nice ambient music.

I've always been partial to:

One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Oh? Vi goes for three ambients with a trick-shot!

I adore most of this soundtrack, in spite of having never played the game. Too bad most of it has been removed from YouTube.

This playlist just makes me incredibly happy to listen to. I'd highly recommend clicking through those, at least for games you've played (if you haven't play them, they are still good but won't have nearly the same effect)

As much as I prefer Persona 3's OST by far, this is the current song that's playing on my TV and was the song when you normally arrived back in your small home.

Easily my favorite song of X/Y (although the boutique music is also pretty pimpin')

Without actually having the capability to play the games, how much should I care about looking up Metal Gear Solid soundtracks/playthroughs/trivia/etc.? I'm told that they're not especially fun to play unless you like interactive movies, but that link was worth the listen.

Also, I present music that represents how optimistic you feel every second you're still alive while gliding through a war zone.
(Ingame it tends to abruptly cut off for various unpleasant reasons.)

MGS has great music. Love the old now-unused MGS theme.

If you like the insights of the problems of fighting in a war, the pain of how soldiers feel, the technological advances of war weaponry and how war changes to be a world wide economy then I think this series is for you. Otherwise, it doesn't matter either way.

I mean there are a lot of cutscenes, but I happen to enjoy the stealth/infiltration gameplay as well. MGS is a fantastic series that has maybe gotten a little too weighty in recent years, but MGS1-3 are all beautiful games.

It's refreshingly cerebral for a game of it's genre. Though it's kind of hard to put it in a genre at times in the series.

I have this iOS game called Groove Coaster Zero, really good soundtrack. But leveling up to get more songs is a pain right now.
