Let's Play games with Glork! Choose the game!
Hey, all!
So I have a handful of games that I've bought and either never played, haven't played in a very, very long time, or started and never finished. And I've been thinking of doing/streaming a Let's Play for a while, so I figure... why not combine these concepts and have some fun?
I want to start streaming more (especially once I get ~new computer parts~), so I'd like to see what y'all would be interested in seeing! You can vote in up to three of the poll options. I'd be happy to discuss what level of experience/exposure I have to any of these games.
I'm also open to other suggestions, but I'd prefer the games to be available on Steam, and it might depend on price/system requirements (again, pending ~new hardware~). Finally, the game(s) will be streamed on twitch.tv/glorktheinvader with days/times to be determined.- Glork

I submitted my own personal top 3 (FF7, Tomb Raider, SW:KOTOR).
Much to my own personal embarrassment, I've never actually played FF7. I've watched a couple of friends play through portions of it, but have never played it myself. I feel like I should correct this.
Tomb Raider is a game I picked up during the Steam Summer Sale, and I started it but only got a couple of hours into it. It's fun, but it kinda dropped off my radar. I'd love to restart it and stream/commentate as I go through it.
Finally, SW:KOTOR -- I started playing through the original last year, but had to stop when my hard drive went wonky. Haven't had much of an opportunity to restart it, but I've been told repeatedly that Imustplay it and its sequel because of how good they are.-

I disagree Ankamius, if the RPG is story based you can riff on that. KOTOR has some promise for that reason, FF7 probably is a little too stale and slow for an early LP, Torchlight is a little too grindy (that is, the gameplay isn't interesting to watch for me). I'd tune in for DA:O, Tomb Raider, or King's Bountry. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts- Untrod Tripod

Because I don't have/can't stream it.
I'd definitely consider it down the line. Never played Superman 64, it could be entertaining to watch me suffer.- xRECKONERx

Well like I said, I'd like to play something that I own but haven't gotten around to starting/playing/finishing yet.- TheButtonmen

Don't play Superman 64; it's not fun to play, and it's not fun to watch. It's like the Star Wars Holiday Special; it sounds like it should be So Bad, It's Good for everybody, but it's actually just an unrelenting pit of awfulness. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.- chamber

I really don't even think its entertaining in a bad way, or the user suffering way. It's just too terrible. Like sonic 2006. It doesn't even function as a game really.Taking a break from the site.- xRECKONERx

The GameGrumps playthrough has nothing on the original pokecapn blind playthrough, which is possibly the best 'bad game' let's play anyone's ever done.Current Avatar: Dr. Contessa(OC, art by @pastelpuffin)- Gammagooey

Okay, so it looks like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic wins. Just need to figure out a day/time to do it. I'm thinking once or twice a week, for 1-2 hours per session.- GreyICE

KB's gameplay is fairly repetitive though, unless I start doing crazy things with my troops.- Glork
