Oh wow i can't believe it filled... I fear there's two fresh players for site, and fear they not get grasp of game. Well, i always will be here right?

I need to create this PT first due nature of rolling visible and real names.

Rules

(guess where i stole them from)

In General:

0. All Site Rules in effect. Here is list of all actual rules which you can read. I only repeat most important things, but it doesh't mean you can break actual rules if they are not repeated here.
1. If for some reason you can't continue playing or not feel fun from this, then you always can ask mod for replacement. You need to do it

only

in Private Messages. After you are replacing, you are out of game and can't post.
2. You need to play for your wincondition.
3. Dead Players can't talk. Don't make any BAH posts.
4. You can't discuss this game somewhere else, but in main thread or any PT i create for this purpose. You can't discuss other games as well.
5. Do not quote private communications into the game thread. But you can paraphrase. It includes:
- Communication with Moderator
- Your RolePM. Posting flavor text or Image from it is forbidden.
- Posts from PT.
6. All your posts and text in it should be readable for everyone. That's it: No Small text, No Cryptography, No Nasty Invisible Texts.
7. My Mod Color is

Coral

. You can use it, but only if you not trying to impersonate me.
8. If you pretend to breaking rule, i consider you actually did break rule and will act.
9. All mod actions are case-by-case. Feel free to reach for List Mod if you feel i can't deal with something (for example if something serious happened or i judged you unfairly).
10. I reserve the right to alter the ruleset. If I do, I will announce it in thread.

Activity:

1. At Minimum, you need to post game advancing content in this thread atleast once per 48 hours. If you fail to do so, you receive 1 prod.
2. After receiving prod, you have 24 hours to post game advancing content or you will be replaced.
3. If you received 3 prods, you are automatically replaced.
4. If for some reason you cannot access site for a bit longer, you can PM mod with VLA status. Then you will not be prodded. If you don't post for 4 days, then you will be replaced regardless if you are VLA or not.

Deadlines:

1. First day will 10 days. Afterwards, it will be reduced by 1 day for every dead player. Night are always 2 days.
2. For special occasion (like shutdown of site or special circumstances), mod can grant extension. It's case-by-case basis.
3. Night can end early if every living player PM me with request for fast night.

Voting:

1. Votes and unvotes must be bolded in the format

VOTE: Player

or in vote/unvote tags (VOTE: Player). Vote/unvote tags are preferred.
2. If Vote is hard to read, obfuscated or i don't understand to who you refer for, then vote will not be counted.
3. An execution occurs when a majority (>50%) of players agree to execute someone, but not earlier than 24 hours from day start. If no majority is reached by the deadline, no one will be executed.
4. You can vote for No-Exe. You need only 50% of players voting for this option instead of >50%.
5. Once the hammer vote is cast, the day will end. Discussion may continue into the twilight, but no further votes or unvotes will be counted.
6. No one can be executed in first 24 hours grace period of any day. While you can vote and even reach majority, it will not count as successfull execution and you can freely unvote afterwards. If player still voted by majority by end of grace period, they will be executed instantly.

Private Communication:

1. Due nature of game, only PTs existing at start of the game are Dead Thread which can be accessed only by dead players and mod. There's no way to interact with Dead players.
2. You can request Notes PT if you wish. It will be released after game end, but you will have moderating power here.

Setup

Two alignments:

Taskforce

. Majority, they instantly win if Kira is dead. They will lose, if 5 days passed and Kira is not dead, OR if Detective is killed and Kira survived next day afterwards.

Kira

. Minority. Wins if Kira didn't die for 5 days OR Detective is killed and Kira managed to survive day after this. They will lose, if Kira is dead at any point or their name are in Death Note.

Everyone receive Role, Alignment, Visible Name (real or fake) and Skill. All them are randomised and not necessarily align Canon Manga or Anime (Light Yagami-Detective is Possible).

Visible names are your flavor names. Everyone in game know visible names of all players, unless player has skill Incognito.

Visible Names are their Real Ones and can be used in Death Note to kill them.

Detective

and

Kira Followers

use Fake names as Visible Name. They can't be killed by writing this name in Death Note. Instead, they have Real Name, which should be used to kill them. Only they know what their Real name is.
Skill is personal ability of characters, which are not tied to role and assigned randomly. Everyone has one. No one knows which skill you received.
You can only use one role ability per phase, but you can use role ability and skill at same phase.

Every player have skill received randomly. They designed to help you regardless of alignment and role, but sometimes they are better in some hands. You can multitask with role ability: It means you can use this skill with role abilities if desire.
They all don't visit and can't be tracked.
There's 14 skills and only 10 of them will be in play.

knows which abilities are not in play.

Access to Files
. You have restricted access and nosy. One time, at Night, you can target player and learn if their visible name are real or not.
2.
I am Not Kira!
State that "I am Not Kira" and mod will confirm you have this ability. Otherwise does nothing regardless if you are Kira or Not, but everyone know you have this ability! Hey!
If desired, you can PM mod beforehand to not resolve this skill regardless of what you say. This skill works instantly.
3.
Case Solved
. Once, at any moment, you can PM mod identities of
Detective
,
Assistant
, Both
Kira Followers
and
Kira
, exactly. If you are right, mod will confirm so. If you are wrong, Mod will notify you about this. Even if you one of these roles, you need to fill self for this ability to work. This skill works instantly.
4.
Go To Jail!
Once, at Day, use this skill to put target in Jail for next night. While they are in Jail, they can't perform role actions and use skills, but also protected from them. Exception:
Kira
Write ability, as it can get you everywhere and CAN be used from Jail. Assasinate will not go though. Only you, target and
Kira
will know, who is in Jail.
5.
Clingy
. Once, at day, you will watch target closely. It means really closely, that they will learn your Real Name. If target performs any role ability next night, then you will learn about this fact, but not which ability was used. Target are notified about this.
6.
Autopsy
. Once, at Night, you can target dead player and learn if they holded any secrets. Basically
Detective
ability... For dead!
7.
Public announcement
. Once, at any moment, you can PM mod message which you want to post. This message will be posted publically for everyone, but without revealing your identity. This skill works instantly.
8.
Sixth Sense
. Sometimes, you just KNOW. If
Kira
targeted you with Write, used your real or fake name in Write ability,
Detective
used Any role ability on you or
Follower
used Shinigami eyes on you, you will learn this. All these will be pointed as "You have bad feeling...". Regardless of how many times you was targeted, you only receive message once per phase. This skill is passive.
9.
Incognito
. You knew well: You didn't tell anyone your name, even Fake one. But you can't hold long: Your visible name will be revealed at start of Day 2. Still you probably survive one night!
10.
Last word
. At any moment, you can choose living player and write a message: If you die at any point after, chosen player will receive your message.
Alternatively, you can pick two targets and write message. If First target die, second target will receive your message and will think it's message from your first target.
You can only use this skill once, but you can change targets at any time: If target of skill dies, then it considered triggered and spent.
11.
Check Out
. One time, at any moment, you can use this skill and learn, how many players with Fake Names are still in game. This skill works instantly.
12.
Calling for time
. One time, at Day, you can use this skill. All votes will be cleared, and deadline will be reset.
You can ask to autouse this ability, if any player/s you choosed are hammered. This will save them.
This ability will be used automatically, if you have undeniable proof that player is on your side. That includes: You,

Kira followers fake claiming is actually genius the more I think about it. The followers don't know each other and Kira doesn't know them, but they all know what skills aren't in play. Claiming a skill that isn't in play let's your two buddies know you're with them

I predicted this and Kira Followers DOESH'T learn it. Only Kira does.

Therefore, Kira Follower can lie and show self, but has pretty big chunky risk.

I wanted to send this video but you beat me to it

Actually i noticed that in this scene, not only Light sits hilariously, but also he holds letters in strange manner to read them.
Atleast i can see that one letter covers another by self, but Light acts like he did read it somehow and more over, builded "secret message". Another letter is just cherry on top. I think he would be charged as Kira on the spot after this, but for some reason didn't and we had two seasons.

It's actually sad that i cutted out most important thing about setup, but it was in linked thread in my mod queue and i specifically warned that game could be very strange for everyone.

Thankfully it's not really that hard to realise who died as who, and doesh't really help Kira much.

There's two investigations to learn dead players.

One is Autopsy which allows to learn if dead player holding secrets.
Naturally, because Kira dying ends game and Detective death is obvious, Secrets result in Assistant or Kira Follower.

Second one is Check Out, which gives how many players with fake names are still in game. So if answer is 1 and Detective is alive, it means all Followers are dead. But it's in scum hands now.

First one allows to get clears though and have exact knowledge. Second is more baseline.

Uh guys Assistant kinda alive and if worst, can vouch for detective.

Kira Follower will be outed simple because no one would vouch for them and if someone else actually does (Other Kira Follower or any random funnier), then it's assasinate right instantly.

That's why claming Detective is not really advised.

Feel it's hard to read std too, out of anyone it may be best to vote him, Kira is the most dangerous if we can't read him

These two posts are terrible. This reads as a potential coverup for what seems to be an easy vote.

I'm not saying std is the easiest player to read because he isn't, but there is some differences between his town/scum games. I have been across scum-std once and I was able to gut read him as scum, but didn't have a great case in order to get him limmed.

The way this vote reads to me as "well I'm being wagoned so here's my counterwagon with this argument even tho its shit its the best chance i have" type vote/post.

I think Malakittens chances to be assasinated dropped slighty.

"Hello, everyone. Person who rolled Public Announcement here. I just wanted to take the time to use it to give my thoughts here and now, in the event I die tonight for any reason. After reviewing Vanderscamp and Lorne's ISOs, I just want to say that I'm about 99% confident Gimli is Kira. Vanderscamp's odds of being a Follower are extremely high as I greatly doubt he would've counterclaimed Assistant like that as a Taskforce Member, and he physically could not be the actual Assistant as he would have known it was the Detective making the claim. So going off of that, it's clear to see that he very much was a 'yes man' to Gimli. Looking at his ISO, Gimli is mentioned 113 times in Ctrl+F, though some are of course from Gimli's actual posts, but either way most of these mentions are Vanderscamp gassing up Gimli: Sheeping or agreeing with his reads, vouching for his towniness, speaking of how he's not Kira/Scum or is a bad choice for elimination. In general, he was an extremely adamant defender of Gimli, and it surprises me that no one seems to particularly notice this when multiple slots raised eyebrows when StD came to Malakitten's defense, or when people came to KawaiiKame's defense. The same goes for Lorne Malvo, who despite being a mostly joking around not-so-serious slot, was unusually supportive of Gimli. Again, in a kind of shitposter way, but still it's there. As far as I'm aware, very few people have been as much of hardline supporters of Gimli as these two, let alone so consistently. Both have had minor disagreements with him, but the majority of their interactions with him are support and defense. Gimli has seemingly picked up on this, as he prominently defended Vanderscamp and tried to refute/discredit Malakittens during twilight after the Condemn. Lorne is the one out of place, as Gimli doesn't seem to do a lot in his favor, though obviously Kira is under no true obligation to protect his followers, and propping up Lorne as an elimination on a future day could be beneficial if he comes under pressure, a compromise vote or some such, or maybe an excuse to flip a switch and start townreading/towncasing him. Regardless, Vanderscamp's likelihood of being a Follower to Gimli is extremely high, and if you dislike the odds on the Malvo slot being one, then I offer an alternative: MegAzumarill. MegAzumarill, honestly on a second blush, is perhaps an even sturdier case for Follower, as they don't particularly say anything ill against Gimli, and similarly Gimli townreads them for a large percentage of the game outside of a single incident of suddenly doing a heel-face turn and wanting to eliminate MegAzumarill for a very short period of time (which he later said wasn't really a good play as is, and that he was just frustrated at the time) and some very minor incidents that can happen to even the best of genuine mutual townreads in any game. I have to personally admit that MegAzumarill is a townread of mine, but at the same time this analysis has given me a very good reason to also believe she is a deepwolfing Kira!Gimli follower. Anyway, I think I've rambled in hilarious and longwinded fashion enough now, so I will bid you all a good rest of the Night Phase now. And please do consider this carefully, too."

Detective living atleast for D2 boosts town chances greatly. Detective dying like that is terrible, but atleast Mala dragged Kira Follower with self. But honestly, it would be more optimal to condemn someone else and shred POE. Vander is outed evil anyway.
