Well, then they're perfectly correct.

123456789 looked quite scummy to me in my read through the thread, so I'm happy pushing this lynch. Leaving Map Wolf alive benefits us, as does a no lynch, so Day 1 looks like it is going well right now.

I didn't manage to get on and answer those questions, but I will do so tomorrow. What are your thoughts on the gladiator? Map Wolf's lynch didn't really make anyone look bad, though I may accuse you of fencesitting tomorrow.

Yes, I was thinking karnos would be a good choice precisely because he hasn't let on what he thinks. Any choice he makes will be heavily scrutinised, and I can't see town gaining a great deal of information from it either. 123456789 and Vedith I would leave alone for now. Leonshade I think is actually a better pick due to him being townread; if he wins against anyone he picks, then that could work out very well for us and we could well pick him again later in the game to add some confusion. Dunnstral I'm not yet sure on. I'm not keen on nominating either one of us at this stage, as I don't think either of us would make much sense appearing as gladiators given the content we have output so far. I would have to pick Vedith or 123456789, and neither of those are great choices for targets to be honest. Certainly tomorrow night will be a better time for either one of us.

Leon would be a funny pick, the only downside is that keeping Dunnstral alive for longer might be beneficial, and chances are he'd end up targeted and lynched

I'm back from my V/LA.

Night 2, another choice. HopKirk will likely be reassessing his reads after karnos flipped town, and he is still widely perceived to be town, so I wouldn't think he is a good choice. Choosing Dunnstral and Vedith might well end with one gladiating the other, and of the two a Dunnstral flip is preferable as it will call Vedith into question. Not sure who Leonshade and 123456789 would choose, but if either of us get picked I fancy our chances.

Do we want to choose one of us for tomorrow? Both of us have sensible choices for our target but the other, barring some logic about the choice itself, would have to bus them. If you picked Dunnstral I would vote you, and if I picked Vedith I imagine it would be best for you to go for me. This isn't necessarily bad, as should either of us be successful against our target and then later flip, the other should gain towncred.

My preferred choice so far is Leonshade or one of us. What do you think?

You are right that picking Leonshade could well backfire. I am not at all keen on picking 123456789, though.

Honestly, I'm fine with being chosen as gladiator. Can't guarantee anything, obviously, but I reckon I could have a good go at theorising why I was chosen and justifying my pick. Who would be best for me to go for, Vedith?

I will be trying that line. I replaced in at the end of Day 1 and wasn't as active as I would have liked to be Day 2.

As for justification... there are the suspicions I have already voiced, and I can have a go at him tunnelling Dunnstral, to the neglect of basically everybody else, as well. Doing a quick ISO there are a few posts of his I could attempt to deconstruct. Anything of his leap out at you?

I have had a go at taking down some of the case and clearing things up for HopKirk. Last we heard he was still motioning for a Vedith hammer. Either way, if I do end up lynched, I am confident you will have a good shot at winning the game.

Having given it some thought 12345789 is probably the best choice. There should be some leeway tomorrow as it will be three to lynch out of four possible players, so if he chooses one of us we will have time to come up a with a plan and try and convince everybody else. There is a chance he picks Dunnstral, but that danger is everywhere anyway and if he does I am confident we can push for his lynch successfully.

Basically we want two of HopKirk, Leonshade, and 123456789 in the lynch pool, and the best way to get that, however unlikely, is by selecting 123456789.

It is a little unfortunate, what with it being 3 out of 4 to lynch and two players committed to my lynch. HopKirk and Dunnstral are positioned to join too.

On the positive side, my lynch does not directly lead to yours, and there are opportunities to have all of the remaining players lynched instead of you. Since it looks like I am going down here, it has been a pleasure to play alongside you, and I will wish you good luck.
