It's typically considered a breadcrumb by moderators, even though it's noticeably different from the "normal" sort of breadcrumb. It's not something I currently consider to break the rules (although I agree it's a grey area, and I might have to think about what to do there for future games).

No, it doesn't (unless all players, both town and scum, agree to end it early; this is very unlikely to happen at a player count this high and thus I didn't ask). If I ended the night early, it might give away clues as to which timezones the scum were in.

Right, please don't mention or allude to events that happened in a game anywhere but that game's game threads, until the game is officially over and the final flips have been posted by its moderator. This rule is needed for two reasons: it prevents outside influences entering the game; and it prevents players having to compromise their win chances in one game in order to get an advantage in another.
