this game, and contrary to what I said, *I'm* the one who's being a bit reactionary here! I amped up my activity and attacks because I knew that if I didn't, we would lose. You pushed me to that point!

You know, the most frustrating thing?
I have the same exact strength as town and as scum: I am

good

at making myself be town. As town, I also generally have good reads!

I have the exact same weakness:
I can't actually get the lynch I want!

(Though, in this case, a Dwlee lynch would actually be the most beneficial of all.)

I mean.
If I'm town and get nightkilled, I can't push my reads.
If I'm town and get lynched, my reads get pushed usually but not necessarily. (I seem to be one of the

only

players where being lynched = being sheeped. Dunno why.)

But as scum?

I NEVER know what's the best move.
Should I continue the tunnel?
Should I do a hard 180?
Should I try to slowly back out?

I never know which option is the best. It sucks, so damn you zakk, you're actually putting me in the spot where I as scum am at my most

vulnerable

: the "point of change", as it were.

I think I got the sweet spot where I'm conveying (legitimate!) frustration, not making a suspicious turnaround, not making an equally-suspicious continuation when ignoring new evidence, and not making a suspicious fencesit. I THINK I've got it at the point where I took the most reasonable stance possible. I think.

But I don't know, and right now, I'm actually terrified as a result, from that

post, and one post alone.

I'm like 90% sure me not hammering Nosferatu is a really stupid move which could cause Dunnstral to lolhammer me at any moment.

I'm also like 99% sure I've lost this game since Dwlee wants to vote me, Suzune would vote me, and Dunnstral would vote me.

At this point, if I manage to worm my way into hammering Nosferatu, it'll basically be a GIVEN that I'll lose, so I think I'll revive an old stance of mine:
If it literally makes absolutely no difference who you kill because you're doomed to lose...kill the person who you think most deserves to win.

And while

all

the living players (save maybe Nosferatu?) fit this mold, the person of them who MOST deserves to win, of them ALL, is Dunnstral, so I'm thinking of making a very short 1v1 with Dwlee if I pull the Nosferatu lynch off.

I was near being lynched yesterday, so what did I do? I attacked the masons everyone was townreading, and bam. I lived.
Today, I was near being lynched, so what did I do? I attacked Dwlee who everyone was townreading, and bam. I've lost a vote.

I mean, I sincerely doubt it'll amount to anything.

Let's be honest, I'm losing this game.
It really doesn't make a difference who I leave alive, it'd be a 1v1 against Dwlee either way.
And both Dunn and Suzune townread Dwlee so it's not like I have a chance at convincing them.

Though, I suppose: I'll take Suzune being a rational, logical player over Dunnstral being a stubborn, gut-based player. There is that, but this is mostly because Dunnstral earned the privilege of the nightkill more than Suzune did.

I just have to say though: regardless of win or loss, I'm pretty proud of Antihero and myself.

We're here, in 3p lylo. All the PRs, save one which I intentionally spared, are dead. We lost our strongest two power roles on D2, and were put at a distinct disadvantage from that point onward. And yet, we made it.

I made it.

I'd say that's a pretty good accomplishment, regardless of result.

A win would sweeten the deal though. :P
