I certainly didn't play great - I'm burnt out and due for a break from the site - but I don't see how that reveal leads you to the conclusion that I played terribly, as I probably pushed him harder than anyone else.

Are there sufficient crumbs for your partner to reasonably establish a claim?

It depends on how you see the masons in this setup. The game's so short I don't see their private communication as a big advantage. It seems to me they exist mostly to conftown each other. If they had claimed yesterday, we'd be in the same spot as we are now - but with a conftown.

If there's a scum mislynch D1, scum have a 50% chance of hitting a mason if they shoot randomly (assuming they're saving the soldier kill for a later night or possible mislynch), better if they're reading things right. If there's a mislynch of a VT, it's 67%. So, masons claiming D1 doesn't change the odds as much as you might think, and it guarantees at least one conftown for D2.

Tomorrow's 2:1 lylo. Scum kills the soldier tonight. Tomorrow, he can come out and lead with a mason claim if he likes. When your real partner CCs, it's a matter of who can tell the most convincing story.
