Is the reset going to be soonish? Finally feel midly comfortable with the pack but don't know about getting too involved.

One last question before reset: upgrade mods and forge to current versions? I tend to think yes, but if there are reasons not to, better to know.
I also noticed "help fix" which I'd like to have if it's current.

How does Friday afternoon/early evening Pacific time sound for the reset? Same timeframe tomorrow is also possible but I'm thinking give adequate advance notice that it can be an event if people want to go that way.

The way I've been doing upgrades is to upload new mod/config directories under different directory names, then it's just a rename to switch 'em.
The pack is on curseforge/twitch, minus the possible addition of helpfix and upgrade of mods.
Simple thing to make an updated mods/configs zip for those who avoid the twitch launcher.

Last chance to bring up anything that's missing, to include in initial launch.

Download files are ready. The server has

not

been updated. I'll post again when the server is ready for final beta prior to world reset.

The release level of SP8 has been loaded to CurseForge. To use from the Twitch app, use "browse all modpacks", search for ScumPack. Create a new instance from the modpack.
The filename to use is ScumPack-8.05R.zip. Twitch-served packs do not contain the actual mods, only the list of mods for the app to install.

The Forge level will be

14.23.4.2705

and I don't know if installing the modpack from Twitch selects this for you (likely) or if you have to do it (possible).

For manual install and/or use with other launchers the files are on gdrive: SP8-release.zip
Configs are included in both download methods.

Note: some client side configs are my personal configs, adjust to your taste

Note 2: I didn't do the "disabled" thing because I don't think creating the modpack on curseforge will work with that. You can enable/disable client mods in the app or loader of your choice. Optifine is not included, if you want it you probably know how to install it.

BTW it's important to hear from at least one person to verify the download works to get to the server as it is now.
I'd hate to have messed it up and not know it from assuming my instance working means yours will.

Technically it would be about a 5 minute thing to reset once we have confirmation that it's good.

If you specifically want to wait to tomorrow please comment.

I'm fine with going ahead potentially as soon as my 5pm (pacific) meeting is over, or maybe even before that if I can get online and do spawn verification before that meeting starts.

Also if you're attached to your current build from the beta and want it for single player let us know, it's straightforward to download a backup.

OK SO... when "finishing up" during loading, it appeared to freeze for several minutes but then it kept going and loaded up fine. we shall see... if i can connect and if there is any fps garbage on my POS ancient laptop. cross your fingers
