town Enter has a very distinct goal in the early game. it's actually his favourite part. he's one of the few players i think really puts value into the early game. i thought he might be doing it when questioning me on voting you im RVS, but he hasn't done much to get any wagons going or make RVS as full of information as possible.

Furthermore it absolutely makes sense that we would have a higher chance of picking 1 scum from 6 slots. Any town in those 6 slots can eliminate themselves and the probably 1 of the other slots being scum is 1 in 5 and up to 50% likely from their point of view. As opposed to hunting between 12 other slots which has less than a 10% chance of being scum in isolation. I did 0 actual math these are just approximations but you see my point.

i can tell you didn't do any math, because a random subset of 12 players could have 1 scum in it, or it could have none.

i townread Slacks's minor disappointment in townreading me for what he thought was genuine belief in a scumcase that turned out to not be so.
i also found Enter's reaction to it to be fairly towny. good enough for day 1, though i've no doubt Enter is intelligent enough to know how to react as scum. still, he's being the town Enter i know and has been since we started, so i like the read.

i haven't played with them either. i thought the pop in about me vs Renais being TvT was scummy, in the way they agreed with Maria's read of the situation, but apparently did so without her input a little bit earlier and decided to not step in. it sounds like a cute comment but i believe town likes to defuse TvTs rather than encourage them, especially if the townies reads on each other are only getting worse.
and the ISO has otherwise been pretty meh. it's a spot i want to push for sure.

Eevee had a habit of kind of throwing in platitudes near the lynches and avoiding ever really engaging in too much direct discussion as mafia. Haven’t meta’d the town game yet, don’t really want to. If Dunn comes in here and towns it up I’ll do that dive next. Lots of similarities in play: generally avoiding solving/ direct interaction and just making passive commentary on big happenings.

i trust Slaxx's take on the situation, this makes me more confident. especially the passive commentary thing, that's really what the chatter felt like.

Maria: it's true he's not very towny. i had him as town for 185 but i could retract that, it wasn't as great as i'd thought initiall. i didn't like his Enter vote but had (admittedly it could be biased) little problem with the Dunn vote.
but if we're talking about shallow play i'd say Dunn has the same problem.
