The Curse of Rata Mall - Barbers

This barber shop looks dirty. It probably used to be spotless back when it was in use.

@RD:
-The benches contain a (small) variety of things. Indicate which bench you wish you to check (Left, middle or Right) - Once you decide, Harry will then go over to the gas heater
-The flatscreen is a PC flatscreen, not a TV flatscreen - no remote

@Primate
-Gas Heater - pending the above
-You watch the cupboard scene carefully. Will update as needed.

The room goes completely dark.
It takes your eyes a moment to adjust
You see nothing unusual
THe light comes back on again.

Nothing of note in the couch.

Harry goes over to look at the bench on the right. There is a handheld mirror. When he looks at it, he sees Lacey is gone

Lacey bursts through the poster, exposing a hidden room and attacks.

An attack phase has been entered, and will be resolved automatically in 24 hours unless both players agree to resolve it immediately.

COmmit to fight
- Dice rolls will occur
Use an Item you have that can adjust the outcome

Agree to stop fighting

Lacey is armed with a crowbar, and has a pair of scissors in her belt. +2 on final roll

Harry suddenly stands up, no longer wanting money. No longer breathing.

Harry looks at himself, and realises something is odd

Lacey explains. Harry has contracted a virus that makes him a zombie. It killed him, but behold, you live again as undead. You and him work together now.

Primate, your previous win condition is now changed. Your new win condition is as an undead zombie working with Rubber Duck to infect, or kill everyone in the mall.

A PM will explain more later

Examine dirt for recent activity
Nothing

Examine cctv
It doesnt appear to be running

Examine all 3x barber benches, left, middle, right
They are chairs

Examine all 3x mirrors.
You see yourself in them. They look interesting

Examine all 3x power points, Check nothing is plugged in. Try the switches on/off
They turn on, they turn off

Examine all 3x barber chairs, sit in each, test raising and lowering them
Fun

Examine office chair, test same as barber chairs.
Fun

Examine till lock for if it needs key, needs code or needs input from flatscreen
The till needs a key

Examine flatscreen, try using it.
Nothing to see here

Examine gas heater - interested whether Xavier got the gas going or not.
Gas is NOT running

Examine magazine stand
Read the magazine for real this time.
It has articles about aliens, nothing you havent read already

Check foil(I don’t know what foil means in terms of hairdressing)
They are hairdressing foils. Nothing useful

There appears to be a spot where the Point of Sale system would have once been. IT's gone however. Probably missing for months.

Harry takes the money (if he wants), you have a white-alcohol-thing and hair gel. The magazine rack is 2ft tall, made of flimsy cheap plastic poles, that the magazines are draped over. Its not masking any switch.

Retrospectively, For the record, with no gas, the heater is useless. The monitor is also useless as there is no PC to plug it into

You didnt find any new weapons, other than what you already found.
