Idea: Keep the mechanic. Give scum a night kill. Randomly choose who will be the two people picked, but scum can pick one person each night that will NOT be checked. Not sure what the town:mafia ratio should be here but I think this setup gives scum more agency and would be more fun by giving town more info.
