Also, mom feels like she is town. Mom does not seem like the kind of player to power wolf, so her taking charge like this make me think she is town. Should possibly look at a scum game of hers at some point this game to confirm, but I am at the beach today

Mom and T3 are my strongest two reads atm.

I have vague thoughts on other slots, but I am a little unsure the best way to go at this set up, because if I give too many reads, I feel like it will out my mason/nonmason status, ya know?

Post 7 is a single vote from Oka, with no other words.

T3 immediately 180s and tries to walk back the mistakes.

If those are real slips, what makes him realize his mistake? Oka did not explain it. The setup info is not even in thread, so he did not scroll up and see it.

So did he see the vote from Oka with no context, and think "I know, I should go reread the setup back in the sign up thread?" instead of, I don't know, assuming it was an rvs vote?

Frustratingly, yeah. He might. In my last game with him, he pretended to have a guilty result on me. We were both VTS.

In the game before that I was in with him, he faked a scum slip as town, and fumbled it so badly that he repped out like 2 hours into day 1.

Even if he is town, then he is actively throwing the games that he is in when he pulls stuff like this, and want to start voting him for it until he learns to stop doing it as town.

I don't understand why Bug would hammer T3 instead of ghosting the game to give him time to shoot
I don't understand why Shelby would put T3 at E-1 if T3 was not online and we are in a game with Enchant (who has already displayed his hammer happiness)

That left Oka as the vote that made the most sense as the bus vote, because that came early enough that the scum team would not have control over the timing of the hammer -- But, then Oka's point about T3 being spooked by his page 1 vote also makes a lot of sense to me :/

If there was some bussing, I don't think both scum would be bussing him so quickly into the day, so I think that there is likely at least 1 scum in [Jessica , Enchant]. Especially since votes all are strange to be bus votes, makes it harder to believe that 2 of them are.

My guess, is try to find the masons, and sheep who ever your top mason guess is.

If you are a VT, and you sheep the masons group, then there is a 60% chance they are leading you to scum.

Which is much better then if you try and find scum yourself, where you have a 12.5% chance to point out scum.

My husband had his final interview for a new job in a new town close to the beach, so during this game we were at various times taking a multihour drive to that town one day, and then the next day we spent time at the beach and then made the drive home.

Normally 100% of my posts are from me on my laptop. Like 50% of my posts this game were phone posts

The "defense" of Not Mafia, when he had exactly 1 rvs vote looked like an EASY white knight.

Repeatedly saying you must be town for "derailing a wagon" that you did not derail, and if anything, you encouraged it and are probably the reason why bugs voted there, looked like scum trying to rake in town cred they thought they earned from the white knight.

i thought luke and mom's interactions were "obv mason" (oops) and then i thought mom and jessica's lack of interactions but still cross townreading each other was mason indicative

i tried really hard to not masontell by just minimizing my interactions and coming to best conclusions i could and either nakedvote or just case at people and not actally generate associateives

You very obviously have terrible reads in that case. Trying to find out why someone trs another slot is very clearly NOT mason hunting.

In most set ups that is true.

But in this set up, when someone gives a town read that they don't explain, pointing it out and asking them about it can only lead to an answer that would help the scum team deduce if they were mason partners or not

Yeah, that was kind of my point. Scum doesn’t want to risk being wrong unless dying, which creates that scenario.

Well, except of course wrt to the concede obviously. So, I think if scum could have night vigs instead, they would have had a much better chance of winning this.

I actually think that the only reason we lost was due to the timing. T3 was getting ran up when he was not online. Shelby was drawing suspicions while he was at work.

We had the right answer, so we could have won. But the timing was just bad
