Before we begin, a few ground rules.

Only use the threads I provide. Don't PM other players, use other PTs for talking about this game, or use any other medium to communicate about the game to other players. I'm fine if you mention the votecount in-thread.
Games.
You're playing this one. Play to win it.
Cryptography.
I don't like it. Don't hash your posts or use a Caesarean cypher or anything like that.
Small text.
Don't use it. Anything smaller than the Small size will get bumped up in size, except for tags.
Games of chance.
While this setup is based on rolling dice, keep in mind that provable RNG is still prohibited.
And yes, you may claim that you rolled whatever you like. The setup will be randed from your rolls anyhow.

Prods, Replacements, and Activity

Prods will be issued every 72 hours without game-advancing content. Even something as simple as "Cook is scum" or "Let's vote Cook" counts as advancing content.
If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to respond or I will search for a replacement.
If you are prodded 3 times throughout the game, I'll search for a replacement.
If you are on V/LA, instead, I will poke you every 72 hours. Two pokes is a prod.

I will try to refrain from doing so but if there's a

broken role combination like Serial Killer Vigilante Roll Twice (Multitasking and Rampaging) then I will change it. This may also be used to merge Masonries with only one member.
After all roles are generated, I will randomize the setup and give you your second role PMs. Confirm with those and we'll start the game rolling.

Pregame

Aliens are given a bonus role in their PT.
All 3p players will also be given a bonus role PM. They may choose to pick either role to confirm as.

For up to one prod timer's length at the start of the game all Aliens may choose to shuffle around and redistribute their roles as they see fit, including the unused role. These will lock at the end of that timer.

For the Mason-Type roll. I rolled a 20, which is 3P, so Neighborhood Watch.

Meaning the (unflavored) role PM is as follows:

- You are a member of the Aliens, a group of evil villagers who want to kill off the rest of the Town.
- Your Alien PT is

- As a member of the Aliens, you share a night-kill, which you may opt to execute. As a faction, you may only do the nightkill

- During the day you may PM the mod to join the Neighborhood Watch PT the night following, a secret group of players who are all guaranteed to not be Third-Parties.

Clarifications

This list will get updated as questions get posed, but a few off the top of my head:

Jester does
not
end the game if eliminated.
Cultings resolve after kills. If you die and are culted in the same night you will retain your original alignment.
Cult Leader is the only member of the Cult capable of performing the recruitment. If the Cult Leader dies the Cult will remain alive but powerless. Culting does not vanillaize.
Town and 3p members are always able to be culted. Groupscum are able to be culted if there are no other members of their team left alive. Atheists (Mason-type who know they aren't Cult) cannot be culted.
Neighborizers each have their own neighborhoods.
Parity Cop's unmodified ability is "At night you may send me the name of a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn if your target's alignment matches your previous target's."
Cultings resolve before investigations. If you investigate someone the night they are culted you will see them as Cult.

have to be made for balance – FIVE different rolls on FIVE different rolecards were fudged to create a more theoretically balanced environment. These changes will be made public at the end of the game.

A reminder that these generated rolecards will be shuffled before the game begins – you may not get your own 3d20 cast back as your role. But it should help you setup speculate

The group instantly explodes into discordant argument. Games are thrown left and right, both metaphorically and literally. Chaos ensues.

"Settlers of Catan!"

"Chinese Checkers is better!"
"Guys! Stop! Let's play Mafia!" Cook exclaims.
"Boo! Survivor!" one particularly adventurous scummer yells. No clear consensus can be had on a game.

Cook eventually picks up a ninja throwing cookie and tosses it at the wall, shattering it and the argument dead in its tracks.

"We're going to settle this the old-fashioned way."

"With guns?" one person jokes.

"Nope. I'm sick of all of you arguing so much. Please, just

Discussion comes to a head as the party drags on gameless. It's almost 11 PM by now, and things aren't looking up for the people who wanted to play. As Cook is taking a very important phone call, two knocks resound on the door.

"Come in!" she hollers. In comes ssbm_Kyouko.
"Hello, Cook?" she asks.
"Mhm?" Cook replies.
"We picked someone."

cyrus62

is directed at forkpoint by Cook and the other eight to leave the house at once. "And be careful about the automated turret in the front lawn! Weave through the trees or something!" Cook offers to cyrus. But cyrus didn't look out in time and was dealt a gruesome fate by the front lawn turret.

cyrus's coat which he had refused to take off the whole time then unfolded to reveal several colored hexes and a small soul-weighing scale tucked into the pockets. Cook presses a button on a remote. The turret whirrs to a stop as the party gather around the body of cyrus.

"The

Catanians...

traitors," Cook grumbles.

"Well, that was eventful. Accomodations are upstairs. I think it's a bit late to be playing these games."

Rule Update: Action Priority

This rule can be found in the OP in the "Action Priority" section.

To reduce confusion I have devised a list of resolution for all actions. The

general rule of thumb is

Block, Protect, Kill, Cult, Check

. The lower down the list the action is, the lower priority it is.

Being Bulletproof (immune to nightkills), Atheist (immune to culting) always resolves first.
Paranoid Gun Owner (reflexively shooting someone who visits you)
Asceticizer resolves before
Roleblocker, Jailkeeper (roleblock)
Bus Drive resolves before
Doctor, Babysitter, Jailkeeper (heal)
Fruit Vendor, Neighborizer
Goon, Serial Killer, and Vigilante
Cult Leader
Cop, Parity Cop, Role Cop, Finder
Tracker, Motion Detector, Voyeur

Actions under the same numbered "step" can affect each other. Once all actions under the same step have resolved, they are considered to have "finished" and are locked in.

In the case of mutual or conflicting roleblocks/manipulation actions, they always resolve in the order they are in, ex. Asceticizer will stop a Bus Drive.

sneaks out of his room to confiscate someone's suitcase. As he's crossing the living room, the creak of a floorboard squeaks behind him. He whirls around to see an equally confused

carrying a bag of dice.

"What's that?" T3 asks SirCakez. Cakez replies with a defensive "nothing", then hastily shoves the dice in his coat pocket.

"Well then, if you say so," T3 finishes defensively, walking off to another gamer's room and gingerly turning the knob.

From the couch, someone stirs. Cakez whirls around and shines his flashlight in the eavesdropper's eyes...

"Why are you out here?" they ask each other almost in unison.

"Couch is comfy," James states nonchalantly as he types something on his phone browser, presently directed to mafiascum.net.

Speaking of T3, the two collide mid-step, both looking in opposite directions of each other.

In the moment of confusion and mutual head-rubbing, three shots ring out, dispatching the cult leader and innocents.

I think this indicates the culting woukdnt go through but idk

Confirming this. Dying prevents your unresolved action from going through, such as culting or investigation.

Aliens being granted a bonus role in their PT means that they have been given an additional role card which is Alien aligned. Aliens are permitted to swap rolecards between themselves and the center role until the start of the day, at which point selections are locked and the surplus role is discarded.

The second day comes and goes, just a little bit faster than the first day, and four guests lighter. The arguments still are deeply trenched, but in the end the party decides that

Cook walks out the front with Thor in the chilly evening.

"Shame. We're one closer to a decision though," Cook says to him as they cross through the yard to Thor's house.

They pause at the front step. Thor wordlessly opens the door and walks in, inaudibly muttering something about everyone sucking.

"I'd take the shotgun off of you, Thor. You never know, heh?" Cook says to no one in particular, as she walks to Thor's shed.

The crowd reconvenes, sans one person –

Marashu.

The door to Marashu's room is blocked, so Cook and a few other scummers manage to force it with a nat 20.

The scene is graphic. Several boxes of markers, all with their red colors removed, are strewn around Marashu's lifeless corpse as a very detailed blood-looking temporary tattoo is present on his torso. Someone continued the work across the floor and the wall, too. Signs of a struggle can be seen all around the room as the contents of Marashu's suitcase – Clue, Operation, Diplomacy, and Apples to Apples – are scattered across the floor.

It's impossible to tell anything at this point. This party is too surreal.

The seven remaining partygoers seem to want to figure something out to play, so, lightning quick, they bind up

ssbm_Kyouko

and throw her in the back of Cook's car while she's grabbing her keys to the house.

"Gonna grab more ice. Be back, folks! Let me know when you decide on your lim!" she cheerily announces as she gets in her car and drives off.

Along the way Cook hears the muffled cries of ssbm_Kyouko in the back of her car. She parks hastily and checks the back and undoes ssbm_Kyouko's restraints, then scowls to the sky, then back at ssbm_Kyouko.

"They picked their target, didn't they?"

ssbm nods.

"Well then. I'll make sure to stalk them during my days."

Anyone who a Rampaging role didn't explicitly target who's affected by a rampage gets acted on reflexively — this means that even if a PGO with an active ability targets someone the Rampaging role rampages at, the rampager won't be harmed.

A Bus Drive resolves before most actions — therefore, the action's target, and thus who is affected by the rampage, switches. The Bus Driver will be affected regardless.
