Tsk Gorrad. To be honest, I never even considered that move clause you just suggested I was planning with that move.

I'm sticking with my move for now and I am more in favour for the night nc3 if I had a choice, seeing as nf3 would leave the central pawn undefended, and if taken, leaving the king flank open. BUT if everyone else was to agree on nc3, then I would willingly change.

I do have a slight plan (which obviously I can't disclose here) which leaves me with a slightly higher piece advantage and better position leading on from bc4, but I am not sure if it will work as well against a full Queen's Gambit.

I'm not dead btw. The piece advantage that I planned to take is more strategic than physically appearing as a major uptake.

The thing is, you can't really discuss future plans like this so unless someone here knows how I normally play off by heart (you've never even versed me or seen me before) then it's gonna be tricky to win with the CHESS side of things.
