Context matters a lot; stuff is always going to be more innocent-sided irl because reading people is easier. It also depends on how familiar people are with the game, and whether they prefer to play based on reads or math.
Regardless, I definitely believe that 8p is more fun. If I were really concerned with EV instead of enjoyability I'd be playing resistance or traditional mafia.It's always the same.
