Looking to run sometime after 8pm tomorrow, or before midnight today if there is enough interest.

10 minute
Night Phase then
40 minutes
to discuss until
10 minutes
to vote by PM. Plurality voting, all players tying the plurality vote die.

Official Rules

Town
wins if at least one
Werewolf
dies, or if there are no
Werewolves
and no one dies.
Werewolves
win if at least one player dies and no
Werewolves
die.

There are 3 more role cards than players in the game. 3 role cards are in the middle of the table. Your Role PM and the role in front of you or others might be different by the end of the night.

- May look at either 1 players cards or 2 cards in the middle

- May exchange their card with another players card, and look at the new card.

Troublemaker
- May exchange two other players cards without looking


For additional players additional roles will be drawn randomly from this pile, the roles that have been added will be public.

Additional Roles1
Minion
- Knows the Werewolves identity, and wins if the Werewolves win, even if they die. Werewolves do not know whether the Minion is a player or in the middle.

- Always added as a pair, though they can still be in the middle. Know each others identity.

Drunk
- Must exchange their card with a card from the middle, unseen.

Insomniac
- Gets to check the role in front of them at the end of the night.

Tanner
- Wins if they die. Werewolves cannot win if the Tanner wins, but Town can win if a Werewolf also dies.

Hunter
- If the Hunter dies, the player they voted also dies.

Dopplegänger
- Looks at a players role without moving it. They are now also that role.


Night Actions are resolved in the following order

Spoiler: Action Resoluton
  1. Dopplegänger copies someones card, and performs their night action if they have one, unless it is the insomniac.
  2. Werewolves learn each others identities
  3. Minion learns Werewolves identities
  4. Masons learn each others identities
  5. Seer may look at cards
  6. Robber may rob
  7. Troublemaker may swap
  8. Drunk exchanges with middle
  9. Insomniac and Dopplegänger-Insomniac learn what cards are in front of them

A reminder of the order of resolution.

Any
Werewolves
learned about each others identities.
The
Minion
learned any
Werewolves
identities.
The
Seer
had the choice to look at one player's card or two middle cards.
The
Robber
had the chance to exchange their card with a player and gain a new card.
The
Troublemaker
had a chance to exchange cards between two other players.

As a reminder, your Rolecard might have changed without your knowledge and your wincon is the card currently in front of you, not your Role PM.

Yeah, I thought 40 minutes would hit about right if everyone was engaged, I don't think it would work as a forum paced game because the time pressure is important for giving people uncertainty about what roles they might have ended up with
