getting my track result really was a job scare into thinking I was actually going to have to play out this day

One thing that I can say about me losing my mind is that no one has pointed out that this is a Normal game, which I emphasized in 4 different places, and Beholder is a non-Normal role.

This is only 2% of my overall confusion but contextually it makes the other 98% so much worse.

there is some magical aura surrounding rh9 that makes luke specifically want to bend over backwards to find ways to townread his posts

I have in fact been guilty of that in the past, AND I went through that CORRECTLY this game, BUT then I convinced myself that I was repeating my past mistakes.

with luke i was more remembering the end of warrior cats and feeling like his reasoning had similar vibes here and wondering why that didn't seem to give him any hesitation

i admire the willingness to try again regardless of correctness, but it is at least a little more admirable to do it and also be right

the repeated "we really shouldn't be talking about this but hey everyone remember that dunn definitely could have another doc shot" is like actually pretty good cover for giving a reason to shoot dunn tonight

I did not really believe that it was super likely, but thought that acting like I thought it was likely could potentially cause scum to not shoot me.

And the way RH and Meuh approached it was frustrating.

If THEY WERE RIGHT, saying it out loud felt anti-town. Like, if you think Dunn only has 1 shot, you WANT the scum team to think that he has 2 shots. Lets trick the scum team, and let them make a mistake with their night kill.

So saying "his play makes more sense to me if he has 2 shots" or JUST IGNORING THE POSSIBILITY was better imo.

At least Meuh was arguing that Dunn should be the elim that day, so :shrug: for that I guess, but it was still frustrating.

It says a lot that Datisi hasn't even read the game and is 2/2 purely off of asking "Does this make any sense if the mod is not sadistic?" Unfortunately, Datisi is in the dead PT and not the game.

Designing this game, with this playerlist, was supposed to be a performance art invitational, framed as a delightful dinner over a carefully cooked and curated meal.

Instead it's a bunch of children running around unsupervised with forks finding outlets in the dining room that I never even knew existed and raiding my Elmer's stash. Don't get me started on the random retconning claims the mafia PT was shooting around earlier that had me losing my mind.

My opening read was that Pooky was not really a miller based on his interactions with the Meuh Miller claim, and CATBOI TALKED ME OUT OF IT! I BLAME HIM

While I don't think my mind was going to be changed at that point, I do think that if you had voted meuh instead of yourself, there was a really good chance that meuh was the elim.

She was at e-1, gl unvoted just so you could not hammer. If you put her back at e-1, GL would have reasonably considered hammering.

So, I have a cofession to make.

Despite saying REPEATEDLY that I needed to / should / was planning to re-read this game, I never did.

I really should have either done that, or at the very least, not tried to control the elim knowing I hadn't.

I generally feel bad about my play this game.

I have not been signing up for games because I just have not had the time for them, but I am a sucker for invitations, so I showed up anyways

There reached a point where I considered repping out because I kept saying I needed to, but not finding the time, but once the game had its 3rd rep out, I felt like it would be worse to force a 4th one onto the game.

Figuring out the Rh9’s from the Meuhs from the sircakez of the world is a lost art. We just do our best.

Commenting that One Particular Post is not scummy, while Knowing The Person Is Scum sounds like something I would do.

I am not sure why they seem to think that 2 millers + 1 tracker is more of a troll then 1 miller + 1 tracker tbh.

Like, yes it would be a troll if the scum team was Dunn+Cakez, so the town was literally just 2 millers+1 tracker+ All VTs, but I am not sure why Cakez seems to think that:

1 Tracker + 1 Roleblock + 1 Miller makes sense as a possibility (Town GL world), but 1 Tracker + 1 Roleblock + 2 Millers would be a troll (town Meuh world).

I kind of felt like Miller(s) in a game with no cop made sense thematically.

Like, to Prism, they *felt* like they were against them succeeding in law school, and there was no way to know that they actually were not.
