I disagree with Nuclear on a couple of things, but they lean town. 65, for example, stuff like that is rarely actually a perspective slip, and 74, I really don't think correcting someone's misinterpretation of your joke post is a bad thing. Those are pretty reachy things to point out. It doesn't strike me as dishonest-scum-reachy though, especially in the beginning of the game. I also thought the follow-up in 77 and 81 was good.

I have to think some more on the mech stuff.

I could assume that everyone who's been trusted (Black, Drew, Klick) is either town or scum with whoever trusted them, which actually might clear Drew due to a line of logic that my brain is not yet awake enough to verify or explain coherently (update on that later). I don't know if I like that assumption though.
Black is basically confirmed and Klick reads town to me anyway though.

I think Black/Drew/myself are just town. I think arguments to the contrary aren't that strong - there are 'what-if's there but they aren't super relevant.

I think Black, Drew and myself should solidify our reads and pick one person each outside of that group that we're confident exiting with. If we all do this successfully, we win.

If it turns out one of us is scum, we can reevaluate considering that if we have to cross that bridge. I don't think that's the world we're in though.

I'm fine with both this and standard Black Mayor, though I'm not sure why everyone seems to clear Drew. would someone be willing to explain to me

So basically, there's a trust chain of patch ---> Klick ---> Drew. Assuming that scum will always reciprocate trust offers made by town (which is debatable but I don't hate it as an assumption), Drew can't be scum unless Klick is also scum. But Klick can't be scum unless you're scum, which isn't possible if Drew is scum. So Drew is most likely town here.

I don't love the committee idea, I don't see what it gains us vs what it potentially loses us.

'Keeping top townreads around' doesn't make sense to me? The goal is have town leave the game. And there's not a mechanic in this game, like wagons or lims, that allow us to get more information the longer we go. The top townreads don't gain anything by stay or become more wiser by staying.

Imagining we having consensus 2 townreads, I rather they stayed in the game till the end than go out early.
The closer to the end the harder to make the right choice - so I rather have consensus townies guiding my choices, or at least have someone to talked them out with that I trust.
