I don't think we should attempt to do everything at once. Catching a carp could be fine, but for me thw mines are more tempting and I would like to focus on them more today.

This way we should probably afford the backpack tomorrow.

4. Head back to the farm and plant ALL the seeds. Water them as well.
5. Head to mines, start floor 20, concentrate on loot until we have to go back.

I basically want to get to deeper floors so we start having access to more iron ore. With iron ore we can eventually make sprinklers which will make crop management much easier.

Ultimately, this is up to the players. Stuff we know about:

1) The community center. Completing bundles; looking for everything we're missing.
2) JojaMart. We know there's a membership available for sale. We also know that buying that membership will turn the Center over to Morris - as a result, this is

fundamentally incompatible with completing the Community Center.

We don't know what happens if we do this, but it's a safe bet that Joja will have different priorities.
3) The museum. Trying to donate everything we can to Gunther.
4) Collection completions. The game keeps track of the following:
-- Fish we've caught.
-- Food we've cooked. (Need to get the kitchen built first.)
-- Stuff we've shipped out via the shipping bin.
5) Building relationships with people. What happens if we fill up someone's hearts? Or everyone's hearts?

Spoiler: Medium term goals

1) Upgrading tools / buying the Iridium Fishing Rod.
2) Buying the Bigger Backpack. We've had to toss out things even with 24 spaces. Maybe 36 would be enough?
3) Getting more buildings from Robin.
4) Completing the Mines. We don't know how many floors there are or how much harder it's going to get.
5) Working on some of the combat challenges: killing X enemies of a type might pay off somehow?

Spoiler: Short term goals - a.k.a. ways of earning money

1) This mostly boils down to: finding things we can sell. We've got stuff in storage that maybe we don't need?
- Crops (we've already got a bunch planted. Building sprinklers would let us expand our crops without committing more energy.)
- Forage (includes things like maple syrup)
- Fish (includes things like crab pots)
- Mining materials (smelted bars or the raw ore)
- Building materials (not very profitable)
- Animal products (can always buy more animals to increase the cash we get per day here)
2) Quests can earn cash and build rep, but they don't pay out much and we can't always complete them.

Spoiler: Action efficiency

Efficiency is tough to answer as we've just started a new season, so we don't know how much money we'll make from each activity.
Tool efficiency:
- Chopping wood is still a great way of burning through energy fast, although with the copper axe we'll go through more trees.
- Fishing goes through energy slower, although bait and tackle can speed up the consumption rate (and efficiency rate). This has historically been a money maker.
- Mining is variable - depends on how lucky we are. Better pickaxes will reduce wasted time and energy. Selling ore makes some money; selling smelted bars and gems makes more.
- Watering an individual crop is fast; watering a bunch, not so much. Crops usually sell for decent prices.
Most tools are 1-2 energy per use; the fishing rod is 7-8 energy per use. As we level the skills, it tilts from the higher number to the lower number.
Right now, animals cost time but no energy. Ditto for forage.
