I remember thinking it was weird at the time but if he were scum with python then I feel like he would have just stayed on my wagon instead of switching over. The momentum swing of that switch is was sealed the deal for python

All I can recall about Drew's game was he pushed gob and he pushed Ranger. He's been coasting under my radar for a hot minute

In hindsight, the interactions between usesPython and Black were rather stilted. 462 even defended Black, and 436 stated Black was townier. Their next mention of Black was 842. They went from overall positive on Black with no scumread, defending Black, to wagoning Black.

There was no trajectory to the read, just a sudden hard swap.

The "hard swap" was python realizing they had the numbers to get me faded. It was pretty clearly a survivalist read

This is true, yet it also applies to Black's read on usesPython. Black demonstrated usesPython in the middle as 'good'. (Notably, this contradicted an earlier take on the same list.) Black never demonstrated a scumread on usesPython

Though she stated willingness to, she never followed through until after she was already being wagoned.

Black was making the usesPython wagon happen without trying to case aiming for scum; I believe it was because Black already knew they were, and didn't need to reach the conclusion.

I also think it's indicative of Black's play throughout the game. Black has been making wagons possible, and not trying to catch scum.

Yeah I liked the readslist but calling it good doesn't mean it matches mine exactly. At the time I had python south of null. You are fabricating some contradiction that isn't there

I was V/LA that weekend and when I got back on Monday it was deadline time. Python had been in my PoE and they were the leading wagon so it made perfect sense to vote there, even without the self-preservation involved

Just because I've been doing a bad job of it doesn't mean I'm not trying to catch scum. This setup has been hard to adjust to and it feels like every time I blink there's a deadline coming up. On top of that I've just been busy IRL so it's been a hard game for me

The implication here is Black is saying the current Drew wagon has two scum on it still, despite the names not aligning. The third Doctor Drew voter is Naerys, not T-Bone.

This implies Black is calling the scumteam {Ranger, davesaz}.

That matches none of Black's actions.

Perhaps you'll take note of this blatant cognitive dissonance tomorrow.

Your implications are wrong. The alternative to voting you is hammering Drew, and I think you're more likely to flip scum than Drew

Naerys is far from the player most guilty of not following through on their actions.

I believe Black has notably demonstrated a severe contradiction which you should be taking interest in. She had previously shown no scumread on me. She indicated if the wagons were Drew v Ranger with the Drew voters as {Ranger, davesaz, T-Bone} she would vote Ranger because both scum would be on Drew, but her pushes have been on T-Bone with a small side of davesaz. She made no mention of me, except when engaging me on my reads, and the entire time she did, she was treating me as town.

Her sudden vote in that light is rather suspect, particularly as it gives the hammer to her greatest suspect.

I've been back and forth on you all game. My reads are pretty fluid. And it's not a sudden vote. We're super close to the deadline and I would rather flip you over Drew. I'm fine seeing what T-Bone does with this decision

For the most part. I have tinfoils going on that keep tugging me in other directions but yeah. I still don't see why it matters that he is the deciding vote. Would you rather me vote for T-Bone and vanity wagon there? Should I hammer Drew who I think is less likely to flip scum than Ranger? I'm confused

This setup is difficult for me. The Day started on Thursday. I tried to do stuff on Friday but I was at work and then I wasn't around much during the weekend like usual. I voted for T-Bone, and yeah I admit I didn't put in a ton of effort to get him faded but I just didn't really have the time. Now it's Monday with the deadline in a few hours and I'm at work again and I feel like I need to consolidate instead of do some last hurrah push on T-Bone

I think StD is one of the best players on the site. There's a difference between being bad at the game and not trying. I think the drive and motivation isn't always there for StD but that's completely fine. We're just playing a game and we can put as much or as little effort into it as we want. Sometimes our schedules don't allow us to put in as much effort as we would like to. The bottom line is that his intuition is pretty damn good when he's town and he's incredibly good at seeming town when he's scum. When he does get pushed as scum he does a fantastic job of somehow getting out of it. I can't sort him when I'm town and I think that says a lot about his skill level, and maybe it says a little about mine too
