general

• setup is detailed in here
  
• for convenience it is as follows:
  • players sign up as a dance pair with another player
    
  • two members of the
    hedonists
    will be
    besties
    and be informed of each other's identities at the start of the game
    
  • during the reception phase (which occurs before the dance phases in the place of the pairing phase), players may choose to swap dance partners
    • let's suppose if x and y were in a pair while a and b were in another pair, and x thinks y and b are both scum. to swap dance partners, x can propose a swap with b. if b accepts (for some reason), y and b are now paired while x and a are paired.
  • there will be an unlimited amount of dance phases, with each ending upon a pair leaving the dance
    
  • at any point during a dance, a player may choose to force their own pair to leave the dance
    
  • there will be no intermission but a member of the
    killjoys
    may at any point during the dance phase publicly guess who the two
    besties
    are (including guessing deceased players)
    
  • if the
    killjoys
    manage to guess the
    besties
    , they will instantly win; otherwise, normal win conditions will apply
    
  • only alignments will flip
• if players sign up by themselves, i will assign the next player (who also signed up solo) to be their original dance partner

(I just won't be counting any signups after Hu Tao.)
