Don't worry, I'm still here CB... just having a little difficulty disentangling the posts intended to be humours from the rest (if there are any  )

Don't find anything particularly suspicious at the moment, but it wouldn't surprise me if mathcam and CB staged the whole feud thing (as Quailman said).

I'm thinking mathcam is scum, but he's just got five quick votes. I think we should slow down and see what he has to say. I'll give him a day or so...

vote: CB

Because I really can't see any angles where he
isn't
scum.

And Dourgrim's vote reeks of scumness. I can't see why anyone would vote for an SK over a mafia.

And I think modargo may as well reveal now. Chances are its CB anyway.

Bah! Having a third cop throws my theories out the window.

Any more cops out there that feel like coming out?

Hey, why is everyone investigating me?? I'm just a plain ol' townie. No night choices, nuttin'.

vote: wacky

I know he's not sane, and at the moment I see no reason why mathcam would not have the normal godfather immunities, so he's probably not insane either.

That only leaves random or scum. I'm willing to take those odds.

And does anyone else find it weird that with so many 'cops' there's not a single naive one amongst them?

No one is posting anything so I may as well give my thoughts on each of our claimed cops:

Modargo - I think is innocent. There's no evidence of an SK, and if the mafia were going to try a sacrifice in order to appear more innocent I doubt they would opt to sacrifice the godfather. He also claimed cop before anyone else did which, given the number of people now claiming cop, is a point in his favour.

Dourgrim - has said a couple of things which I find dubious, such as voting for Modargo on the suspicion of being an SK, when there has been no reason to believe an SK even exists. He was also involved in the day one mathcam feud, on mathcam's side no less.

CaptainB - was involved with the mathcam feud. However, I think his more recent posts have been very reasonable and informative so I'm giving him the benefit of any doubt.

Dragon Pheonix - I think is the sane cop ( the only other possibility from my perspective is CaptainBlic ). I'm willing to trust him for now, but I have seen him before as scum playing a cop very well...

Wacky - is the scummiest. I know he's not sane, and I think CB made some good points before about wacky jumping on the cop claiming wagon. There was also no hint he investigated me before he claimed, which leads me to believe he made it up on the spot.

That's all I can think of for now.

I think the best choice for a lynch today is Dragon Phoenix. CaptainB is the only claimed cop who has a chance of being sane from my perspective. If DP turns out to be scum, then we lynch Dour as per CB's other investigation. If DP turns out to be innocent then Quail and mlaker are scum.

If there were four scum to begin with... well, I don't even want to think about that possibility. (we probably would have lost already anyway)

Because I don't want to hand DP
two
lynches (wacky's and quailman's) in case he's scum, I will:

As a townie I'd normally be happy to sacrifice myself in order to get information leading to the lynchings of the remaining mafia. However, if I were lynched:
- wacky would be verified as random (or insane if mathcam doesn't have normal gf abilities)
- modargo would be verified as one of: {insane, paranoid, scum}, which we pretty much know already

So basically unless I'm scum the town gains absolutely nothing from my lynch.

I would rather try and verify one of our 'useful' cops. At the moment I see only two people that could fit that description: Dragon Phoenix and CaptainBlic. So we should lynch someone who has been investigated by either of these two.

Again, I see two people that fit the bill: Dragon Phoenix and Quailman (DP being a better choice than Dour and likewise for Quailman and mlaker). No-one else has claimed doc so I'm more inclined to believe Quailman is innocent. And if we lynch DP and he turns out to be town, we should still have enough info to grab the two scum remaining (though we would be in lynch-or-die territory).

Actually, the ideal setup for me as mafia would have been to lynch Quailman when he was on three votes and then blame DP tomorrow.

I'll be amazed if all the 'cops' are actually telling the truth... but I don't really buy mlaker's claim either. Vote stays for now.

*Is it 5 alive, 3 to lynch?*

The only thing holding me back from a quail vote at the moment is that Quailman's role claim makes more sense than all the cops we have running around. There's really no way of explaining modargo's failure to kill last night unless there's a doc (although it could have been one of the missing choices someone was referring to).

CB is basically cleared in my book, he lead the bandwagon against mlaker for a start. I'm also pretty sure DP's innocent. Dourgrim has been unavailable in the latter part of this game (could also be one of the missing night choices) so I have no feelings either way as to his guilt or innocence. Quailman is still probably the best bet for the remaining scum.

Looks like its up to me, eh?

If Quaily's innocent and I'm alive tomorrow I've got at worst a 50/50 chance of getting the last scum tomorrow... and Quailman's probably scum anyway so...

Bah! I'd feel a lot more confident if I had a better idea about Dourgrim.

Vote:Quailman
